Not the warmest or softest balaclava that I own but it's definitely the most comfortable in terms of adjustability. I didn't like the way it looked at first but when I wore it to work I ended up liking it. The fact that the top and bottom half move independently make it easy to adjust and prevents the bottom part from riding up into your eyes when you talk or just move around. My other balaclava is way softer, warmer and looks cooler, but it's one piece so the bottom half slides up and blocks my vision. Overall this is a good buy. I use it underneath my motorcycle helmet as well. It extends down to my neck so it keeps your neck warm as well.

Hey had a chilly windy morning here in Saint Louis so I put it on and went outside and felt quite comparable and my whole face neck and head was really warm the comfort was great and it fit perfect to what I needed so I'm glad I got this product thank you

Wow! Took the dog for a walk in 25 mph winds and this really blocked the wind. The temp was 28 and it kept me warm. The eye opening fit me fine. Breathability was good. My only complaint was that it is too small for my head. It felt tight and pressed uncomfortably against my noise. I notice some people say it's too big, some say too small. I came back here to see if they offer a larger one, but it seems one size fits all. I think I'll try stretching the material with a broom handle.

This works well enough, but I don't use it much because the mouth area gets wet from breath and then you have a wet cloth over your mouth in the cold. I wish the mouth area was more breathable to allow condensation to escape, even if it meant less warmth (since wet ends up not warm anyway).

I walk every night after I get home from work and as the colder weather has come in it started to get a little too uncomfortable to walk. I bought this one and one other to see which I liked best. This one was the winner. I don't like my nose covered and with this hood, I just pull it below my nose and it works great. I sent the other one back. ***Added bonus, I also can pretend I am a ninja!***
