Works even better than advertised. *by M***Y on July 11, 2023* I've had this for about 4 months. I'm an emergency responder in an industrial factory setting. I bought these because we aren't allowed to wear headphones because we are required to wear hearing protection in the plant. But, in my line of work I need to be able to communicate to my team while I'm on an emergency scene and sometimes may need to call 911 while my hands are tied up on a medical emergency. And radios don't always work. This works perfectly in this environment. Not only does the audio work well enough I can hear clearly in the loud plant setting but, the microphone works well enough callers can hear me as well. Plus, I can wear this without sacrificing the safety of wearing my hearing protection. And the charge lasts way longer than advertised. When I bought this it said it last 6-8 hours. I've had it last over 12 hours with no problems. In fact it's charge usually outlasts my phone. And the few times I have had to charge it at work (usually because I forgot to plug it in the night before) it will have a full charge in an hour or so.The only complaint I have is asthetic. I wish I could get it without the giant patch on the front. ### ⭐ Second time *by C***N on October 14, 2024* Honestly, my first purchase of these were over a year ago and it lasted about a year until it wouldn't turn on. It would charge but not turn on. Right before not turning on it would be like playing "wack-a-mole" with trying to get it to turn on until it got to the point where it just ''wouldn't".2nd Purchase: I went ahead and bought a second one due to my job environment on August 4th and it is now October 14th. It took two months for the "wack-mole" effect to start. Yesterday for some reason it desynced it's Bluetooth connection from my phone but stayed on. I put it on the charger and now for 1.5 hours I haven't been able to get it on.If you wear ear plugs this thing is an absolute monster with wonderful sound quality and a very long lasting battery life and a necessity for industrial environments. Getting it to work and stay working is one thing you'll have to contend with. 200$ and I have learned my lesson. You can buy the actually speakers and pack separately for 60$ off of another site. Get some double sided tape and stick it to the inside of whatever you are wearing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great, but did I modified it a bit. *by S***E on August 30, 2024* If you are looking for a discreet way to listen to spoken audio (or to a lesser extent, music), this is a good option. It works even better when combined with hearing protection. But I did modify it some.Initially the cap has the transducers (speakers) located inside the hat band. This prevents direct contact with the scalp that's needed for good bone conduction. As a result, you need to turn the volume up and then quite a bit of sound leaks out. Anyone around you is likely to hear it.I took the transducers out and using strong double faced tape, stuck them to the inside of the cap so they are in direct contact with the scalp. This worked great.I work in an area that earbuds are discouraged. Now I can listen to audio books/podcasts for the entire ten hour shift.The cap is very well made, not heavy at all and comfortable even with my modification.I will gladly order it again.
