Difficult to use
I have never been able to figure out how to use this product properly. I have all but given up. Painful and doesn't seem to be very effective at removing unwanted hair. I did not want to give this less than 3 stars because I know the issue could be with me.

The Hair Removal Spring Won't Last Too Long If Cleaned Often With 91% Isopropyl Alcohol
Edit & update, April 10, 2018: After writing this review, the seller contacted me to try to resolve my issues with the hair removal spring rusting. They offered a full refund or a replacement, with the understanding that the new one was from a different batch, but still might eventually rust. This product is really convenient to use, so I opted for the replacement. I will be careful in cleaning it this time. I have given 4 stars instead of my original 3 due to the resolution. That extra star also reflects my choice to receive the replacement rather than a refund. Not having the spring for a few weeks let me know how indispensable I find it. Original review below:I bought this in November of 2017. Four months later, the hair removal spring is rusting. I have cleaned it regularly in 91% isopropyl alcohol, as suggested by other reviewers. When the spring has been used several times, it can become greasy, so cleaning it is a must. My 3 star review, "it's okay," is based on the rust issue. I should mention that I really soaked that spring. I have heard that alcohol can strip coatings off of circuitry, but soaking stainless steel or surgical steel items won't remove the finish. Due to this, I have to wonder if the spring was just coated with a chrome finish rather than being stainless or surgical steel. There might have been a better way to clean it, so keep that in mind. As for the usefulness of the hair removal spring, well, it worked better than an electric epilator I purchased for coarse and fine facial hair. The spring is still tight after 4 months of use. The tweezers are well made and sturdy, although I personally prefer ones without the slanted tip. The razor is a pretty standard razor for precision trimming. The overall cost is hard to beat for all 3 of these items together. Would I purchase again? I really don't know. I hate "disposable" things, especially those I didn't think were disposable. I am certainly not going to buy a new spring every 4 months. I don't regret my initial purchase.

Not as great as I initially thought.
Edit: so I raved about the product after using it initially, but as time went on, I decided to update the review. I thought this product had done a nice job pulling the hairs from the roots, and it may have with some, but others were not. The regrowth of hair can be prickly as the hairs were not pulled from the root, but were cut or broken. I would rather it have pulled from the roots so the regrowth would be soft.I've used a bunch of hair removal products, creams, wax strips, hard wax beans, tweezers and they all kinda work. This epilator is by far the most efficient of the techniques I've tried (and the cheapest). This tool arrived today and I already felt compelled to write a review. It's amazing. Easy to use too, just bend the spring, twist both ends at the same time and basically 'walk' it up the area you want the hair removed. The people who say it doesn't work just didn't know how to use it. It's a spring and literally cannot not work (unless the spring is too loose maybe, but that would be a defective device and you wouldn't expect it to work then). If you're thinking about buying it, do buy it! It's not painless, but the pain decreases as you use it (even in the same sitting I noticed the pain going away). You don't want to use this on long hair either. Trim, don't shave, the hair and use it on short hair. Or shave and wait until there's a little bit of regrown and then use this epilator. Well worth the cost.
