DTK SV10 Replacement for Dyson V8 Battery Absolute Fluffy Animal Motorhead V8 Series Handheld Cord-Free Vacuum Cleaner,4500mAh 21.6V

Purchased June 2022 and it's recently started giving up its charge. I reckon you get about 2.5 years out of it, so not bad for £32. I'm not sure if the Dyson battery lasted any longer. Does it hold the charge as good as a Dyson battery and clean the whole house? I never noticed any difference, so I'd say it's as good as the Dyson battery.

I purchased this battery on 26th September 2024 and with light use it has failed after three months. After charging it fully it only works for about a minute and then stops. Tried several times to charge it but with the same result.

My Dyson died without warning but the helpline quickly identified the battery as the culprit. Dyson direct was costly but this battery had more power and was far cheaper. Fitted perfectly and performs well. The charge indicator has fewer segments but is enough. There’s a slight delay when you press the start button for the first run but it kicks in well and is then more responsive. So far so good after a few months.

Perfect. Easy to fit and now my Dyson holds a charge it is so much better to use.

The original battery was only lasting 2 minutes on the normal setting, I replaced it yesterday with the new battery and I’m so pleased! I was able to vacuum the whole house in one go for the first time in ages! It was quick and easy to replace (I watched a quick YouTube video) I have the Dyson V8
