No More Tangles or "rats nests" in my Hair. Leaves Hair Silky. Reduces hair loss.
I really like this sleep bonnet. No more waking up with tangles (rats nests) in my hair, which reduces hair loss too.I turn it inside out, so the smoothest side touches my hair. I also found that if I tie it under my chin, that it does not fall off during the night.I have shoulder length hair, and I put it up on top of my head in a scrunchie at night, and then put this sleep cap on . Its nice and cool. It does not make my head hot. The next morning, just brush, and my hair is fluffy and silky, ready for the day.I hand wash with Woolite. I've purchased two, so I have one to wear while the other is in the wash.I highly recommend this product to reduce wear and tear on your hair. Hair remains silky, the next morning.PS: I should add, that I always use a silk pillow case too. When I have to sleep on a cotton pillow case, the cap falls off due to the friction with cotton pillow case. But when I sleep on a silk pillow case, the silk case and silk bonnet work beautifully together. The cap never falls off. I hope this helps.

Very comfortable and light weight.
I've had my Lilysilk Bonnet for just under a week and have worn it every night since. It's very lightweight weighing less than an ounce, I weighed it on my postage scale. The front band is narrow and very comfortable. Elastic casings in most bonnets cause friction and dents in my skin and are for me, very uncomfortable. The small section of elastic is at the back and is fully encased in the soft silk. I tie the bonnet on so that it's not too tight then tuck the loops and tails inside the bonnet so that I don't inadvertantly untie it in my sleep. There's plenty of room for my thick mid-back length hair. I'll also be wearing it while cleaning house to keep dust off my hair. I simply love it and will be ordering backups.

It does the job, is good quality
I actually have a return request outstanding for this. I thought the washing instruction would just be too much trouble, I’ve now tried different types and fabrics from other sellers and sites,, and found that even though it’s delicate to wash, it’s definitely still the best option. It’s very nice quality and stays on all night comfortably. So I won’t be returning it. In fact, I just ordered another in a different colour, so I can have one be drying and one to wear Also, it was easy to return, if you need to. But you probably won’t.

My First Sleeping Bonnet
This is decent enough in quality that I like it. It’s my first sleeping bonnet and I have curly 3A/2C hair. I’ve slept with it on for 3 nights and it’s comfortable. I look like a goon with it on so I’m embarrassed to add a photo (haha).I bought it in black because I recently used a semi permanent dye on my hair. The reviews complaining about this being stiff and not feeling “silky enough” don’t know what natural silk feels like. This is definitely natural silk! It’s slightly stiff feeling.I washed it in a garment bag with other delicate items on delicate wash cycle (warm) and hung it to dry.I have a smaller head than most people and my hair is medium length so this fits perfectly with room for my hair to grow. My head circumference is 22.5 inches and I have thick hair. One thing I need to complain about is all of the extra information cards in the packaging. One card is enough, geez! There are 5 cards and a useless envelope in the package. The maker could easily save some money by not including this and simply mentioning it in the product description.Hopefully in a few months I will start to see a difference in less frizz as my hair grows out!

Perfect night cap
This night cap was a game changer for me, I can no longer sleep without one!! I initially was debating pretty hard which brand/style to go for but I finally decided on Lillysilk, as I have pillow cases and scrunchies from them too. I choose this style because it seems like it would suit my needs best at this time.Even though I felt a little goofy at first, I think I just needed to get used to this look! Appearance wise, I think the good selection of colors really caters to many tastes. I went for the silver/gray which I love…It’s relatively easy to put on, I find that I am making sure to tie the ribbons tighter as this helps it stay on my hair more secure. But size wise, it’s a perfect fit. It’s easy to adjust too.I like to wash all my silk by hand and I use Indian soap nuts, which is the most natural soap I could find. It works great. I should probably order another cap though, as it should really be washed every week and takes a few hours to dry.Lastly, I am not sure if it’s silk both on the insides and out. Definitely on the outside. I’ve heard some people say that they like the silk to be on both, but I haven’t really checked this out. Either way, I know it protects my hair at night and so I’m pretty satisfied overall.

Not double lined.
This feels cheap and thin. The inside isn’t lined with silk so the part your hair touches is scratchy defeating the whole purpose of a bonnet. My 5$ bonnet is miles nicer than this one and I thought I would upgrade to the this ‘real silk’ one. Poor quality I would spend 2$ on a bonnet like this. Immediately returning!

A good saver of curls
This sleep cap is easy to use and is adjustable enough so that I was able to tighten it to keep it from moving around on my head; however, the cap does fall down over my eyes, which is a bit uncomfortable. The silk keeps my hair from becoming a bird's nest overnight, but the cap flattens the top of my hair so that nothing will give it any volume in the morning. It's just flat. The sides are not affected as much and stay smooth overnight until morning when they can be revived to lively curls. It's just the top that is a problem. Update: I added a fifth star to my review because I found that if I arrange my hair more neatly under the cap and tie the cap more tightly the top of my hair is much less flat and the rest is a lot more curly. I like it so much that I just bought a second cap!

Not as advertised.
The bonnet is too big, moves around on my head in sleep, and flattens my hair by morning. I’m afraid this was money wasted. I do not recommend.

This is the one to get
It’s comfy, breathable and lightweight. Makes your hair super soft and shiny. Stays on.

Thin silk
Found it a little thin. Wish it was thicker quality. Will not buy again

Don’t waste money
It’s waste of $40.00, instead just use any silk scarf Lying around to wrap on head. It’s flimsy and nothing luxurious about it.
