Q: Does this work on rubber material?

I don't know your project, but this is a crafting glue. So it's weaker then its counter part high strength all purpose formula, but stronger then Aleens tacky glue. I also highly recommend you try just a bit on your material in a test spot. These adhesives are no joke and can ruin a project quickly if you don't have prior experience with them. ( I use this for mostly paper projects. And even then I check to make sure it doesn't hurt light weight papers) I am a huge fan this glue. Also keep it off your skin. Q: Does this work on styrofoam?

Not well. When I tried it on styrofoam, the foam almost melted...pulled away from glue.

Q: Will it work with plastics?

Fabric, wood, glass, metal and more stated on package.........I have not used it yet but would guess it would work well on plastic.

Q: can this be used to mount air plants?

It would work, but I know nothing about air plants. I don't know if it would harm the plant.
