these do not fit regular size mason jars
these lids fit the small mason jars that are difficult to find. they do not fit the regular size jars

So I live upstate. Every fall like clockwork a band of merry mice decide to invade despite using copper mesh everywhere. How they get in we have no idea.This year we took four ounce mason jars, filled drawstring empty teabags (on AMZN) with vermiculite dosed with peppermint and clove essential oil and used these tops. We put these jars in drawers and places we have found mice like to sneak in and so far no visitors.You can add Irish spring soap. Irish spring soap itself mice will eat but in jars with lids they will not!Desperate times call for desperate measures.
