Love the way this looks in my 5 year old boys room! Easy to install we purchased 4 total. Had them all installed within 5 mins and hats on them. Super easy, looks great, space saver, and cheap!

I’ll start by saying that I’ve made a video to illustrate much of what I mention below, so you may want to check it out after reading.The racks are made of solid tubular steel (not hollow) and they have some heft. The paint appears to be a durable, smooth-finish black powder coating. The racks themselves are more than sturdy enough for their intended purpose. I did notice one of the racks had something of a twist to it so that the two mounting feet would not sit flush against a surface simultaneously. This was corrected when I attached the rack to the surface and secured it with screws which drew the mounting feet flush/flat without issue. So overall, while not perfect, I am pleased with the quality, strength, and overall construction.The ring clips, like the racks, appear to have a nice black powder-coat finish and the overall quality seems good. You can add or remove rings from the racks easily enough by simply opening the rings up. When the rings are closed they are secure and won’t come off again unless you want them to. The “clip” portion of the ring clips has very small teeth to grip whatever you are securing. I had concerns these would possibly leave marks on some items, but I have not noticed any issues yet with hats, gloves, etc., but your experience may be different than mine in this regard. One note on the clips – out of the box, the first time you squeeze the clip it may feel stiff - virtually all of mine were like this. After squeezing them open and closed a few times, they function smoothly and without issue. I can’t recall if it was in the directions or in the description for the product, but there was a reference to the clips being stiff at first.And now let’s discuss the hardware that is supplied with the racks for affixing them to a surface. The supplied screws are not the right choice for these racks. The screws are 1 and 1/8 inches long and appear to be fine thread sheetrock screws. The head on the screws is tapered, which to me is not the right combination for the flat steel surface of the racks. So, in my opinion, this is a BYOH (Bring Your Own Hardware) scenario, lol. I used pan head screws which have a flat base which is better suited to the job.If you are like me, and looking to maximize efficiencies with the space you have around the house, these racks are great items. I’ve been able to free up some precious shelving space in a closet by using these racks, and have better organized and made it easier to retrieve items I am looking for.

I thought they seemed a bit light weight when they arrived but they are sturdy and work exactly as we needed to store daily used ball caps.

This product matches the shelving in our closet! My wife and I both have a rack, mine is the top because I’m taller. Easy to install, looks good, and holds the hats great!

These hats were taking up too much room in my closet, so I found this rack on Amazon. I'm really happy with it, keeps my hats perfectly organized!
