Get the right size flag for it!
Purchased the HEEV holder for my Prado after trying a custom bracket on the roof bars which wasn't suitable.*** The most important consideration is that this is NOT designed for the heavy-duty flags prevalent in the UAE. ***The mounting hole is too small for the heavy-duty flag - this already serves as an indication that it's not made for it! And this addresses the complaints in other reviews for the hole being too small for the flag mount, or bending easily.I have a light-weight AOR 3-metre flag mounted on the back of the Prado with this mount, and it works a treat. I was concerned the flag pole might hit the light cluster on the back, but not a single touch after a weekend of dune driving.HEEV - suggest the listing is updated to advise of the appropriate flag size for this mount, as it's obviously designed for the lighter flags and not for the heavy-duty flag poles.

This product is too weak and not designed too carry a standard off road flag. It lasted less then 10 min.

Really Good Product
Its tough, rigid and firm. The material and finishing is very good. I was searching for this bracket for a while for my off-road flag pole and it holds the flag pole steadily. Its very easy and simple to install and it comes with the installation tools as well. Delivery was on time as well.
