Great wax, I'm new to hard waxing but watched vids and took a class. So started off with tress wellness bikini star wax after Google said was highly rated for a budget wax that worked for both course and vellus hairs (peach fuz). But that wasn't true at all as my entire thighs is practically peach fuz.. I Killed a whole bag 1lb bag of bikini star yet only managed to wax 1 lower leg. and the bikki star not only wouldn't remove my knee and thigh hairs, it was hard to apply and would turn rock hard within seconds. after that failure I was told to try a professional grade but ididn't want to spend $50 for 2lbs. so decided to try this as a last effort on budget wax beads before moving on to the rebel wax brand. Soo glad I tried this, when this melted it was silky in texture, melted faster and didn't burn skin at the same temp bikini star did. Also stayed tacky long enough to apply in bigger areas and still actually pull the like peach fuzz off my thighs along with the legit peach fuz off my face and the course hairs from under arms. Only down side was that it did string off a lot when doing underarms but I'm totally fine with that. I'm sure the more I use this the more I'll be able to control it from stringing. As I will not be trying any other waxes since this works so great and is affordable. I had purchased the white colored 2.5 lb bag on sale for $20. Don't know if the other colors work as well, as I see no need to switch to another color in the future

This wax works really well. The packaging says 453 grams (1 pound) of wax beads but it seems to be slightly off. Other than that, this is a great product.

I threw all my old waxing equipment away and just have been going to salons however after paying ridiculous amounts of money or feeling judged from how quickly my hair grows I decided to try waxing again. So glad I did! This is my first time using this wax and it is not for beginners but it is pain free. If you still insist on using it as a beginner then let me try to help. After heating the wax to a liquid consistency you're going to lower the temp slightly so that the wax isn't as runny. No liquids. Grab your wax stick put some wax on and twirl over the wax pot to check the consistency. Even if its still runny just keep twirling it and lightly blow(not too hard or you'll have wax on your lips like I did) always do a test area first. You dont want to put hot wax on your face or any delicate part of your body and you dont know the temp. I go with my arm. I like the temp and removal was fine so i move on to my desired locations. Lay the wax down how the hair grows. I have done my stomach so I put the wax down and once it set I pulled up against the hair to get it from the root. For this type of wax I waited a while to let it set. Like maybe 10 seconds to solidify. I have done my stomach and chin and look forward to my underarms and husband's eyebrows next A safe and smooth journey to the lot of you!

I ordered this because I was broke and I wanted to wax my face. I have PCOS and suffer with a lot of hair growth I’ve tried it all bleaching, waxing and threading, even shaving on frustrated bad days. Anyway, I thought I could stretch my money buying this to not only wax my face but whatever else I wanted too. I’ve been dreaming of waxing my entire body and I have the bravery and desperation now to try it myself. At first my impression was that the wax was really cheap and that it wouldn’t be good for beginners who have never gotten waxed and have never tried to wax themselves. It would be too painful. The first couple times I tried to wax myself over the previous years have been very painful, time consuming, and I never follow through. After some time of getting professionally waxed my hairs aren’t thinner but they are used to be removed so they come off much easier than before. It took me a while to feel out the wax and adjust to using it but once I figured it out it worked great. I am not a professional I’m just a hairy woman who dreams of being soft, feminine and hair free. Some tips I have are to scrub/exfoliate before waxing to release the hairs that could be trapped under dead skin. Don’t moisturize after and dry the area throughly. If you have some powder use it if you don’t I didn’t but it would help. Make sure you layer it on thick against the hair growth, leave a decent area that isn’t picking up hair to have somewhere painless to pull from, let it dry completely and pull with the direction of the hair growth quickly. I do large sections but they can be painful so do whatever you think is best for you. The wax has the plastic feeling that is just right and pulls GREAT. It pulls course hair and even ALL the microscopic baby hairs. Me and my boyfriend were shocked to see it. The melter is great I love the digital screen and temperature control definitely works. Better than the one I brought in the past I have no complaints. I’ve found the best temperature to keep the wax on when waxing is 150. I’ve been able to wax my face, my armpits, arms and half leg because of this so I’m happy with it. I did have to order extra wax but the wax that came with the set is definitely enough to do your full face, armpits, and full arms with some left over not sure if I used too much wax but hopefully this puts it into perspective for you. On a final note I would like you to know that I am someone who cares a lot about quality of products and quality of ingredients. I don’t think this wax has the best ingredients but again, being broke, I said f**k it. Im glad I did because the wax pulls the hairs out very well. I would say the melter is definitely worth the price love that it comes with sticks. If you’re someone who doesn’t like the ingredients you can use whatever wax you feel comfortable in the warmer and keep the wax the bundle comes with for emergency. The digital display is really the game changer and makes it worth the price compared to others. I will also say that I have sensitive skin and this wax did not burn or irritate my skin. Just be careful and always look at the temperature of the wax one small accidental movement of the dial can drastically increase the temperature. You want it just warm enough to be thick like a gel and spread nicely but cool enough not to burn when applied to the skin try between 140-150 and blow first. My armpits are so soft :)

Honestly i was SO SURPRISED how god this wax is ! It smells really good like coconut but not over powering. I love the consistency and the beads melt fast! Butter like creamy texture! I also noticed it takes the dead skin off and i love that

I have been using Kahlua wax for several years and wanted to try this because it is like half the price. First thing I noticed was the smell when I opened the bag. It has a strange odor but once the wax is melted it's not too bad. What I truly appreciate about this wax is how easy it is to apply. With the Kahlua wax I find it very frustrating how stringy it is. You dip the applicator in the wax and a long string of wax follows. There was none of that with this wax. I found it to be on par with the actual removal of hair. I use it for face and intimate areas and it works well. Needing to apply a second coat sometimes which is usually for me. What I really didn't like about this wax was how difficult I found to remove the extra pieces that don't get taken off when I pull it off for hair removal. It took me SO long in the shower to try to make sure it was all off. Because of this I don't think I would purchase it again, although I did have a thought about combining the two brands to see if maybe that would help Kahlua be less stringy and this one to come off easier...

Excellent wax

Used these beads for waxing Mum's face (and mine). Despite lack of experience with waxing, had zero problems, and was able to remove all hair. Some parts I went over twice (those ones along the jawline/bone that are on a strange angle). We have a wax warmer that keeps it at a steady temperature - so it goes on warm, not hot. Has that funny pizza cheese effect as you pull the spatula away (tiny hair-like strands) but this doesn't affect results, and I've had same thing with other brands since. We've since tried another brand (Charmonic Hard Wax Beads - Lavender), with a slightly different consistency, which works just as well, if not perhaps better? (It's marginal) The new brand is cheaper, probably spreads a little better, and I didn't have to go over twice on those areas, but this might be because over time (using the first brand, Ajoura Wax Beans) the hair is just weaker and growing less. Definitely noticed a huge decrease in Mum's facial hair growth, as well as coarseness. I don't have to pluck any afterwards either, like I used to with the Veet hardwax. I love that these waxes can be used on lower temperatures, and pulled off without strips. For reference, I used a Veet wax warmer (cheapie bought at Chemist Warehouse) which takes 30 minutes to bring the wax to a standard controlled temperature, which works perfectly with this wax. Though I eventually plan to buy a different warmer as this one is a bit small and the design is awkward.

This product is AMAZING! I've tried wax beads before on amazon and they've never quite done what I needed. I have pcos and so i have chin hairs and it gets expensive and also inconvenient - sometimes a little embarrassing even though it shouldn't be - having to go into a wax salon every few days. I bought this to go on vacation and omg it made my face so smooth, practically better than the wax salon I go to, this will save me so much money. I will say though that for a hard wax it is soft, malleable and stretchy so it is a pain on your nails lol easy fix though. But that is also a positive attribute to this product as it really sticks to the hairs and grabs every bit. I did a few strips and it's good to go! A few to tweeze after which is normal but omg amazing. MUST buy.

This was is pretty good. I've used it on my face, arm and pits so far. It pulls everything off as long as you put it against the hair the correct way. It's also very easy to clean off. Hoping it will work well on legs. The only downside is the strings when applying.
