Love this bike. Just wanted a single speed bike to follow my kids around the neighborhood, this fits the bill. Iโm not doing bunny hops or jumps, Iโm 42, 5โ9โ, and this is perfect for what I was looking for. Iโve upgraded to seat, brakes, brake lever and pedals, added a kick stand. Removed the front brake cause I never like that one. This bike reminds me of the bmx I had growing up and rode to school everyday, I built that from the 1 speed crank and up with spare parts from friends, so I knew this would be a bike I could work on and add to if I wanted. I had a nice mountain bike but was too much bike for what I needed and just wanted something simple to cruise around the hood. This thing is nice, looks awesome and with a few minor part upgrades itโs awesome. Update: still love the bike, but have added to it improve it, new sealed hubs, taller handle bars, new seat, grips, pedals, chainring, crank. Will probably add sealed crank bearings in future, but have re-greased crank and headset bearings.

Easy to assemble. Decent quality. Bought to ride around with my daughter.

What can I say about this purchase other than it feels great to be back in the 80s. The original was my first BMX bike back in 1982. The 1989 design was one of Schwinn"s best designs and when I learned that they reissued it, it was an easy purchase. Came semi assembled and had it completed within 30 minutes and riding around town just like I was 15 again and loving every minute of it. I ride it daily for my after dinner workout and take it to the bike path on the weekends for fun. Take a trip back in time with this classic. Well worth the money!

I spent a lot of time featuring on getting this bike because I'm not really a fan of buy products that aren't built here locally , die to druabilty and or quality control. Amazon refundedbme about $21 for a bent front wheel on bike that I had not even ridden yet. Took it out and on the first ride and each ride since, the stem /Qull does not stay a tight so the handle bars twist eberybrode out. This is something that can't just be cranked down on and over tightened but regardless of how much carefully tighten it, the slightest resistance and it continues. No matter what adjustments I make it does not resolve the issue. Now I for sure am very skeptical of how this bike is going to hold up. Also, even with full adjustment the brakes are not very good. I'd say if someone buys this bike plan on doing some upgrades. I just sure hope the cranks hold up
