Great addition to my Barbie cake
I was asked to make a Barbie doll cake. I used this Barbie doll in the cake and it was perfect. I wrapped her bottom half in Saran Wrap and stuck her down in the cake and decorated around her. I did not want to use the half dolls since I have a granddaughter who could play with the doll after she finished eating the cake for her birthday. I just gave her the box with all of the accessories that came with the doll so she would have it afterwards. This Barbie doll was the look I needed for this cake so buying the whole doll set was perfect for me. This is a very well made doll and the price was right. I’m so glad I purchased it.

Limited Versatility
You can't go wrong with Barbie if you have a Barbie lover. So didn't understand why they would cap the age on this doll at 7. Well, bc she is limited with what you can do. For instance, her top & necklace are painted on. So if you want to change her, the necklace & fringe are visible in a Barbie dress. The skirt & dress are removable and, she has flat feet, so no heels. From a purely play POV, it's fun. The hair twirler is pretty basic for a young child to toy with. But the ends, where you twirl, don't really lie flat. Kind of kinked. As much as the 10 yr old joyed at playing with the hair, I'd reconsider for an older child now knowing what I know. You kinda have to make the call on your kid's style but, she is fun.

I bought these for my nieces aged 3 & 5 and they are adorable. I haven't given them yet, but I think the girls will love these "pretty in pink" Barbie dolls.
