Q: Can this headset be used on the right ear ?. In other words does mic boom rotate 180 degrees?

Nope. It only has about 110 degree rotation. Left ear only

Q: Folks with big heads, how well does this fit you? I have a pretty large skull and other headsets I have tried squeeze my head something fierce.

As one with a big head, I have had no problem with this headset. Pressure is light and not tiring after hours of use.

Q: I couldn't tell from the photos but does it fold compactly for travel? My bag real estate isn't vast so compactness is key for me - thanks!

The speaker part (Mic) goes up, but it does not fold more than that.

Q: Is there an adapter with a standard headset jack? I wanted to use on PS4 controller and this seemed to be the only monoaural one.

No adapter included. You would have to purchase one separately. There is only a USB connector at the end of the cable.
