Review: Great set of plates. - I really like my Papababe plates. I like them enough to standardize on them for my home gym. I owned some 45 lb CAP brand bumpers already. These are just a bit shorter in height, and can be put on the bar without the jack. They weigh what they said they would. The smell was not overpowering. I like the feel of them, and I get enough grip I never feel it will slip from my grip when carrying them. I look forward to my next purchase of some more of these plates.

I really like my Papababe plates. I like them enough to standardize on them for my home gym. I owned some 45 lb CAP brand bumpers already. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best plates I've ever had

Let me start by saying, THESE PLATES ARE LEGIT. Bought these for my home garage gym to upgrade from my old school iron plates, and they're probably the best quality for the cost out there. Going on two months strong now with almost daily use - deadlift, squat, bench press on a 1/4 thick 10x10 workout mat that contains my power rack, bars, bench and dumbbells. While I haven't been "trying" to beat them up, I can't say I've been easy on them, and so far still looking like brand new. I've even thrown them around a bit during weight changes and they've bounced from my rubber mat to the concrete floor - no scratches/damage. Of course there will be some rubbery smell when you first open them, as well as the light oil coating, etc.. but this is to be expected of anything made of this material and coming to your door new/sealed from production. Can't detract for that, c'mon people. Give them a quick wipe down with a microfiber cloth, then keep them outside for a few days and you're good to go. I will be buying additional plates in all sizes to complete the set. Thanks for a quality product! - JB
