Very universal in place of lost chargers
This is amazing when you lose your plug for anything that has to be recharged. Everything you possibly need for multi-purpose use

Works on some devices ..... not others
We did some interior remodeling of the house and lost the AC plus to the OttLite Model T3 LED 5W 5V 1A. This looked like the solution. The first unit came with a RadioShack AC plug no orange colored voltage adjuster. Returned and prompt replacement (no charges). Easy to use. Key to adjust voltage, OK lots of plugs. Found one that seemed to fit, but the OttLight would not turn on. Sometimes there was electricity and the light would flicker but for the most part it didn't work. Other plugs would not fit, either too small or to big. So as a test I connected the adapter to a Tripp-Lite UBS hub (5V 4A) and it worked fine. Both the OttLite and TRIPP-Lite have the same (+) polarity. Make sure the clarity of what you have is correct. Also make sure the green light on the AC block is green, I had an extension cord that I plugged into and it didn't work because of a bad connection. Of note the plugs for the device have one pin that is thicker than the other so be aware and not push too hard, the size difference is not so apparent. The other aspect, which may or not be an important factor is that the lugs to the device are a 90 degree angle. Overall- it didn't work for my main purpose (OttLite) but can work (USB Hub test). Easy to use. Good value for money if it works.

problem was between charger and adapter ... (human error)
Unfortunately we lost the charger to our Midland GXT1000VP4 36-Mile 50-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radios so on the hunt i went on Amazon and found this charger. When i plugged it in nothing... i thought i bought a dud or the wrong thing but realized the problem was between charger and adapter ... (human error). I needed to turn the voltage dail. DUH 🙄 once I did that it worked like a charm!!! Two way radios should be all charged up for first RV trip of our camping season. One suggestion i would recommend is a way to attachh the little key to the cord. Like a small hole that a little twist tie can go through because i fear i will lose it. However i think any flat head screw driver or the side of a peeny may work if lost... like i said, just a suggestion. Overall very please to have chosen this item as i think will now try to see what else i have that the other sized ports will work with around my house.

Doesn't fit
Oh well. I bought this hoping it would fit a Stanley FatMax Rechargeable Flashlight/Floodlight but no luck. Of the 6 tips, none was large enough. (Do I need to buy the 28 different tips now ? - How many different tip configurations are there in the universe ?) Also, polarity is not clear and despite the seller's advice to just look for polarity info on your device; no such info exists on the floodlight itself nor on websites devoted to the Stanley FatMax. The only reason I gave this 2 stars (instead of 1) (Now Downgraded to 1 star - see below) is because ti's cheap enough to keep it on the off-chance someday I'll run into a device for which I've misplaced the charger and this miraculously fits. I'd recommend trying to buy the manufacturer's replacement for your device - though I was unable to locate one that clearly matched the Stanley FatMax. I update this review because Amazon sent me an e-mail about something or other and I had previously thought it not worth my time to complain - THIS PRODUCT WAS SO BAD THAT IT DID NOT EVEN FIT IT's OWN TIPS - that is to say, the tips included with it would not connect to the device. DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE. ( Amazingly, I think I actually found a use for one of the tips - but not with this multi-charger that it came with.

Nice dual voltage transformer
I, like others checked voltage on setting with DVM, and all were +/- .006.. (All in correction range). Only negative thing I could say is the cord is pretty short. Would be nice if it were another 24". Now I haven't hooked this up to a load, so not sure how long it will last. I bought it to retrofit a 4.5v game sign that has led tubing. Bought at Bed Bath & Beyond, but it only works with (3) 1.5v batteries (in series). I bought some dc volt jacks here on Amazon, and I'm going to wire to run off this transformer. Will update when hooked up. BTW. People saying to attach the so call key to cord so you won't loose.. The key is for a slotted screw driver slot for selector switch.... ??????Will Update you with final results.. Update: Just hooked this to the LED sign, and transformer hums with a load on it. Checked on several dc items, hums on them all.. Not a loud hum, but something that can irritate you.. You no, when you search a room looking for that slight humming / buzzing sound.....

Works for my hard drive and charging certain devices
This device works great. One thing I will note is that you want to set to the correct setting before charging or powering. Putting it on the wrong setting can seriously damage the device. I usually like to use this to power my drive as well as charging my bluetooth shower speakers. I has a hard time find a good charger. It also works for mg bigger battery packs. The brick does not getting any heat from what I can tell but it can if you put it on the wrong setting. The cable does feel a bit thin so handle with care. It does have six different tips that area easy to exchange. You just pull the tips out and exchange them for another. The setting can be adjusted with a coin or screw driver. Overall this is a great device to power things. I would recommend it to also make sure you have the correct settings before plugging anything in.
