It is an economy style transmission cooler kit. Coolers are round tube serpentine design. It has ultra-low profile to ensure easy fit. Kits contain cooler, hose and mounting hardware.

Review: Best bang for buck! Works grear & easy installation!! - Great transmission cooler. Have had it on now for a few days I took it upon my self to see fluid temp difference. Before trans fluid after a good 30 min drive be hot now its luke warm. I am using this on my 2003 nissan sentra 1.8 automatic. Everything in boxed worked great. Clamps are good but are a pain to tightned down but for the peice I cant complain. Also if you bend a fin dont stress simply use a straight screw driver and bend ot back close as form as possible wont hurt it any.

A: The hose was three feet long

A: I put this on my Jeep Patriot with a CVT.

**Q: i just purchased a radiator that has a Build-in trans oil cooler. How does this differ? Would i need to purchase this also?**
A: I Depends. What are you using your vehicle for? Day to day running around? If so then probably not. BUT if your using your vehicle for towing is the new radiator with the built in trans cooler meant for towing or extrema environments like Off roading? If you are just tooling around town and not doing much with your vehicle then a stock replacement radiator will be find BUT if you are towing/off roading/ racing then I would recommend it. I tow a jet boat with my vehicle and noticed that temps would go up when towing so I put this in and plugged off my old internal trans cooler and temps are great now. Hope this helps

**Q: IS this an add on or des it replace the stock one?**
A: This can be either a supplement to your current cooler which in many cases is integrated into your radiator, or a supplemental cooler if you have none.I have a 2006 Nissan Xterra which along with several other models, is prone to a failure of the stock, shared radiator unit. When it fails, radiator coolant enters the transmission contaminating it and causing a catastrophic failure. I intend to bypass and cap the stock cooler where the lines come from the bottom of the radiator and use this unit for 100% of the transmission cooling. This is a small price to pay for eliminating the risk of cross contamination and a costly tranny replacement.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't be beat for the price!

Install took about 30 min on a 2004 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 non-HO and the 545rfe trans. I used fuel clamps in lieu of the included worm gear clamps, as they are a more positive grip without cutting into the hose if you were to over tighten them. I also used a 6AN fiberglass braid covered poly line, mostly because it looks better. However, having included my upgrades, you can still buy with confidence and use what the kit supplies. I have installed several Hayden coolers over the years with what was in the kit without issue. Techtip: If your vehicle has a factory tow package, it likely already has a cooler in your radiator. Assuming that doesn't have a leak, it is generally recommended that you still use the factory cooler in conjunction with the aux Hayden cooler to prevent over cooling. A lot of trannys are designed to run at a certain temp - over cooling, especially in winter, may prevent your trans from shifting into overdrive(s) thus killing your MPG. From trans: to factory cooler, then aux cooler, then return to trans. Also, if you are mounting with the in/outlets horizontal, be sure and use the lower connection as the inlet. This ensures the entire cooler fills without air. If you use the top as the inlet, you can get a "waterfall" effect, filling cooler capacity with air and reducing its efficiency. You can install vertical as well, but in that case be sure and put the in/oulets on the top to prevent the same effect.
