Up at the country estate our boat is in covered storage at the lake up on a lift. We installed this battery maintainer to keep[ one of the batteries charged and ready to go. So far it has worked fine and nothing has caught on fire and burned.Easy to hookup and use. I should have no problems as long as nobody unplugs it. I have notified the owners that somebody has been unplugging it and they said they would keep an eye on it. Should be just fine.

Works for what I wanted

When I first opened this up I was concerned it would be difficult to use because the instructions are very complicated. As it turns out they are simply poorly written and needlessly mix routine use with some of the more exotic function for batteries in bad shape. Normally one just hooks it up and plugs it in.

Ok product for small batteries , It struggled to start my Harley Davidson tho not exactly what I was hoping but hey it works at least

I use this to keep my boat batteries and the lawn mower battery topped up. It's simple to use and charges them to the max.

Fan started coming on at about March time this year (bought it October last year).I thought it was meant to do it, although it was strange as in first 6 months of use fan was not coming on.The 12 battery was about 4 years old (also bought it at Amazon).After trying to start the vehicle, I realized that the battery was not charged. I tried different chargers, pulse chargers, etc to save the battery. But it was too late. Lost a $100 bucks.Contacted manufacture via Amazon and on their website -- no response. No warranty follow ups, nothing.I think the product is not designed well, I doubt that this was just a bad sample.If it was just one sample, they would have responded.Therefore my recommendation is do not buy this charger, and really evaluate anything this company makes, with skepticism.

Update: Stoped working 7 months later. The dispay is dead.I used it only to charge batteries that had been stored for 6 months. Worked as advertised. I selected this particular product because it said it has 100-240V input. The one I received is only 100-120V.I am not willing to try it at 240V, and I am using a step down transformer.
