I would have given it a 5 if they said it's water resistant, as it's not waterproof.It will help keep you drier, but it's not going to completely block the water.Otherwise, I really like this apron.It looks really good and fits well. One of the best things about it is that you can run it through the washer and dryer and it comes out looking brand new.I wash it in cold water, put it in the dryer for 5 or 10 minutes just to get rid of any possible wrinkles, take it out and hang it to dry.It's held up very well, no shredding or anything.

As a seamstress I wouldn't call this a polyester blend. It's plastic, it's doesn't have a fabric poly/cotton blend feel or a fabric feel at all. It definitely does feel like plastic and sounds like plastic when you scratch it

I love the product, I wish they were cotton but they are lovely and will fit the anniversary party they are being used for.I do worry about stains as it says they cannot be bleached. The size will fit perfect.
