Yiu can tell the handle is lightweight plastic, but it seems like it will get the job done. Thankfully I can’t speak on if they will break a window easily or not. The blade to cut a seatbelt is in a good spot, you won’t accidentally cut yourself digging through your glovebox. I feel as an extra safety measure it is important to have one in your car!

Great Product, hope we never have to use them.

This is a review as someone that has never had to use this product and I hope that I never do. I live in Florida and there is water, water, everywhere. Too many stories about people accidentally driving into ponds and drowning because they were not able to escape their vehicles. I bought one of these for myself and each of my family members and was adamant that they put them in their vehicle where they can easily access them from the driver's seat. Obnoxious bright color should help in locating it if it is dark. These are lightweight but the metal part feels pretty solid and as it has a point on the end, I'm pretty sure it could break car windows as needed. Not willing to test it out though, sorry. Also not willing to slice any of my seatbelts to check if that works.

As advertised hopefully you never have to use it but if you do it feels quality, sturdy and light. I do suggest perhaps adding a lanyard to it to avoid it flying around in a accident.

Gave all my family members & good friends ones for their cars and they were so happy. It was a big hit for Christmas gifts.
