Q: What water do I need? Can I use tap water?

Of course, you can also use distilled or purified water, the effect will be better.

Q: The music and humidifier do not turn on. I have clicked the back and top buttons and neither work except for the lights. Could I fix this?

There are two buttons music button and spray button on the top of the humidifier. Music control: when the USB cable is connected, the background music is turned on at the maximum volume by default. Press the music button the music volume is mid, press again the music the music volume is min. Then Press the music is turned on, and then press the music is turned off. Then cycle is in this order. Spray and breathing light control: when the USB cable is connected, the spray and light are turned by default. Press the spray button the breathing light to be turned off . Press again all functions will be turned off. Then press all functions will be turned on, and then cycle is in this order. If you have any another problem, please feel free to contact us.

Q: Can you put essential oil in it?

No, this humidifier can't add essential oils, only water!

Q: Does it have a filter that needs to be changed out?

It comes with one cotton filter. Just make sure it is saturated in water when you turn on . You can buy replacements on Amazon, they are inexpensive.
