Love the story line. Love the family.The sisters are funny. The brothers amazing. Thanks for the love story between the gay couple.

I really enjoyed reading this book and devoured with only sleep as a break. This book has a good amount of romance with Drake and Jillian. They are such a great couple. I like how she had a big crush on him since she was a teenager and totally knows him well and can easily tell him apart from his twin, Dixon. They get each other. There are some good feels moment. I love that they were together the entire time throughout the book and I really got to watch their relationship grow. This isn’t action packed but has enough action to keep me hooked. The plot was interesting with them trying to escape people trying to kill them. I recommend this book and can see me reading it again.

Jillian is extremely smart but she's also funny and quirky. I like how Drake enjoys everything about her. They're in danger and Jillian isn't use to fighting or hiding. Things aren't what they seem and they soon have to fight for their lives. This is very entertaining.

I was so excited for the release of Drake, the 11th book in Kings Of Guardian series. While I have enjoyed the interaction of the twins Drake and Dixon, I have always suspected there was something dark in their past that their witty banter was hiding. And I was right!With the end of book 10, everyone knew the twins were going to be apart for a little while and I was not sure how Ms. Michaels was going to accomplish that successfully. Having Drake make a visit to his own past to help out an old friend and mentor was the perfect setting. Drake and Jillian reconnecting as adults really made me happy. I read fast, so I read a lot. Sometimes it's hard to keep the stories in line in my head. I had no problem with that reading Drake.I really liked that there was already a past connection between the two main characters Drake and Jillian. Being able to draw on that history made for a very well written plot and some actual laugh out loud scenes in the book. I still can't believe what they blew up!!! Oh Good Lord, I was dying.I really hate reading a book and before the end of the first chapter it's "wham, bam, thank you ma'am". Trousers off, panties flying, hot and sweaty bodies already, and I'm thinking "Wow! They just met! Someone moves fast!". And it becomes more of the same over and over.I like that Ms. Michaels builds the plot up for her readers. Yeah, there is sex. (OH YEAH THERE IS SEX!!! Pretty darn fantastic sex!) But with the progression of the story, it takes on a more natural feel to the relationship. People who really like each other, and rediscover each other as time goes by. Even if it is flying by, Drake and Jillian have a mutual respect for each other and a lot in common. It was fun to see the geek fest play out from both of them.I enjoyed learning more about Drake as he was separated from his twin by work and life. Although he is feeling incomplete, Jillian finds a way to help him fit his scattered pieces back together until he can reunite with his brother.And it would not a Kings book without the Kings in it. Not everyone shows up, and that's ok... we still are given visiting time with a few of the family.Even though this book can be read as a stand alone novel, don't cheat yourself. Treat yourself to the other 10 books in the Kings series. You will not be sorry you did!

Father Deliverance! What a book! What a series!! Hands down the best series I’ve ever had the privilege to read. I literally inhaled this book within hours of receiving my download, and I believe this is the best of Kris Michaels so far. From Jacob in book one, to Drake in this recent release, Kris has crafted brilliantly, stories that are rife with intrigue, nail biting suspense, hot steamy take-a-cold-shower-to-cool-down romance, all wrapped up in rapier sharp humour! The attention to detail and accuracy is on point. Every book in this series can be read as a stand alone, but the magical treasure is the solid storyline that is woven seamlessly into and through each characters story in all the Kings of Guardian books. So much so, when you are finished one book, you are salivating for the next.Drake’s story has become my favourite. Kris’s skill in being able to animate a story with continuous mental pictures that so consumes you to the point you almost feel you are watching a blockbuster movie is downright awe inspiring. The Smart Car scene with Drake and Jilly, I had to re-read it three times to make sure I didn’t miss any details, I was laughing so hard and blinded by tears. Priceless! Excellent story line, beautifully executed. I was wondering how Kris was going to deliver Drake’s story based on how she presented the twins in the previous stories. Honey, I cannot wait to see how you will top this one!! Hurry it up already!!I highly recommend this book... BUT even better, buy the entire series if this is your first foray into Kris Michaels territory, as you will not be able to stop reading and enjoying the ride!Downside? The new releases aren’t coming out fast enough for me. 48 hours after the release of Drake, I’m done and trolling Amazon like a stalker for Dixon’s story. It just means, I’m starting from the top reading them all.....AGAIN!!! LOL!!! You’ll get that inside joke soon enough. Now go buy those books!!

When starting to read these stories from Kris Michaels, I started with Anubis, but when reading about Kris I found her recommended order of reading her books. I' m so glad that I'm following her guide. This story about Drake introduces a new threat to Guardian Security previously hinted at in ASP. Without following the reading order I might have forgotten some of the clues. This book is intense with romance, laughter and action for those who need a dose. Enjoy.

Split apart Drake and Dixon must learn to be seperate identities, Dixon is off to face his past and Drake is lost. Until a call from the past reunites him Jilly. Now grown there is instant chemistry even though Jilly has loved him for years. There is danger, intrigue, action, schorching sex scenes, laughter, old characters and new possibilities!The attention this author delivers to facts, characters and science is incredibly detailed and impressive! For myself the only "blip" in the story is that I would have loved to see boys share and love the same woman as they have in the past.Here's to Dixon's story, I can't wait to see what woman knocks him for a loop!

I have to admit, I like others assumed the twins would get a book together. But I'm glad they were separate books.You know a book is amazing when you can't stop thinking about it after you finish! The character development was spot on they are still separate people. It was also great to finally get some back story regarding Drake and Dixon.Jillian's past relationship with the twins from childhood was a great connection. Drake needed someone that grounded him and falling for woman that understands part of his past is exactly what he needed.The subtle and not so subtle twists and turns have me very excited to see where this series will go next. I have loved this series from the very first book and I'm pleased to say with each new book that comes out, Kris doesn't disappoint, yet again another awesome book in this series!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for the next one!!!!!!!!!

Yet another great read from Kris! I’d waited for this as was unable to read anything over the half term holidays here in the UK, started at 8pm and finished at 2am this morning! Couldn’t put it down, the twins have been backup, comedic relief and support for so long it’s great they get their turn now. 😁 I am so sad Dixon and Drake needed to part for a while and look forward to the next book!! Love the style of writing and as always will now face another day on 4.5 hours of sleep! 👍🏻

Another great story from Kris Michaels. Every book just gets better. Each story gets better & better. Buy this series of books as they are excellent.
