Jump Into Punch Needle: For Beginners; 6 Embroidery Projects; Step-by-Step Guide

Okay But Not Great
I'm new to punch needle embroidery using DMC floss and I thought this "step-by-step" guide might provide a good start. This is a VERY slim book - a total of 47 pages. The pictures are excellent but the actual instructions would be better for a beginner if they were a bit more in-depth and/or detailed. There are six projects but strangely, the way they're presented (including the listing of floss colors and floss placement on the designs) differs from one project to the next. A big dislike for me is the how the project templates are presented within or closely placed next to the project instruction text. Tracing the templates from the book so that they can then be traced again onto fabric will necessitate completely flattening the book's spine. In my opinion, there are better books already in print and more to come, I'm sure, since punch needle is having a resurgence of popularity.
