My little one had 4 skin growths removed from different areas on his head and had stitches that needed to be there for 10 days. So I wanted to make sure he was as comfy as possible during that time and this product did the job! The fabric was just too cute!But as many other reviews have said, it does run small. My dog is 10 lbs with a lot of hair and I got him a M, and as you can see from the pictures, I couldn’t get the Velcro to close all the way (although this Velcro is heavy duty and was very secure despite this). In turn, the extra Velcro sometimes would get stuck on the blanket he was laying on or on the fabric of his dog bed. So there were a few times I caught him yanking himself free from his bed because I wasn’t nearby to help right away. I also had to be mindful of making sure his hair didn’t get caught in the velcro too if he rested his head on that part. But otherwise, this thing came in handy and made the recovery process so much better! Just keep size in mind when ordering.

I bought a $41 cone that was awful and so hard and uncomfortable after my cat for spayed and then I bought one of those collars that’s inflatable (both from petsmart and both will be returned)But right here is almost like a soft pillow and she can’t get to her incision so much more comfortable than the others. 5 star ⭐️

The velcro area is rather large for a small dog and the neck is almost too tight. Our furbaby is less than 10lbs so we bought the small based on weight. Overall, the collar is great for the intended purpose.

I found a size that works. I originally bought the onsie for dogs after surgery, but I was tired of unbuttoning it for her to go to bathroom. She kept itching in the onsie as well, but this soft cone she can tolerate. She tried to take it off and it’s super strong, she can’t :)
