A 20 lb BBQ propane tank holds 4.6 gal which will provide about 3.3 hours of run time at 50% load, and 40 lb tank holds 9.2 gal and will provide 6.6 hours of run time. A 20 lb BBQ tank weighs about 17 lb and holds 20 lb of propane = 37 lb.
