Dakine Baja Tie Down Straps 12Ft - Sun Flare, One Size

Utilizing the straps to tie a kayak down on car roof. Super easy to use without messing with ratchets and very solid.

Product arrived quickly and was as described by seller. The straps are nice and wide making for a secure tie down of my board(s). Straps also appear to be of good quality. The straps are very long (12 ft.) and could easily accommodate 3 or more boards. This does pose a slight problem though if you are only transporting one board as there is a lot of excess strap to secure. The padded buckles really help in preventing damage to boards and vehicle.

Nice color, quality and feels heavy duty. However the protective sleeve to prevent scratching a car or cracking glass is too small to cover the metal cam section. The picture used for the ad is misleading - the sleeves aren't large enough to completely cover the metal cam - it will sort of cover most of it for a few seconds after stretching it over the cam section, but after a few seconds, it retracts and leaves metal exposed. Very nervous of using it on the glass roof of my Tesla, and also worried about damaging my boards when not in a board bag.

Im *SO* confused. I have been using Dakine straps for at least 10 years. These are the WORST straps I have ever used. The straps constantly come loose in the cams, allowing my surf board to wiggle all over the place. I have to do an entire gymnastics routine to get them tight enough. I cant for the life of me figure out why these are so different than my previous Dakine straps. Seriously these are horrible. Sadly I was out of the return period before I could use them so Im stuck with them. :-( Will unfortunately be switching brands and being a new pair.

These are well made straps that are plenty long and do a great job. I've bought a second set - not because the first set wore out after 10 years, but because I needed a set in a different location. My first set is still going strong and has years left of use.These are absolutely excellent.

Ich habe schon viele Spanngurte benutzt und diese erfüllen alles zu 100%. Fest, kräftig genug und dehnen sich bei Nässe kaum aus. Als Surfer perfekt um meine Bretter sicher und ohne Schäden auf dem Dach vom Transporter zu transportieren.
