Small brass Cleat--works for thread also
With my crafts there are times I need to leave them, and have a thread that needs to be retained with tension. In the past I would set something on it, or wind around a table leg, or whatever. I now have the cleats mounted near my work area and it is so much easier to wind the thread/string around, then just pick back up when I return. Only negative is I wish they shipped with matching screws. I found some screws in my junk drawer, but they are a different color.

Good quality, but no hardware
Nice attractive antique bronze finish. Arrived quickly. My only complaint is that the cleat packages do not include wood screws. 10 are needed for each 5 pack. BTW, installation requires #6, 3/4" length flat head screws.

No Screws
This is a nice product - however, it doesn't come with screws - had to find brass screws that fit.

I should have paid attention....Great Product hefty, solid but no screws. Had to send my husband out looking in the work bench to see if we had any that size

NO SCREWS
The cleats came with no screws - the fancy finish is worthless without matching screws. Now I have a job to try to find screws that work. Rather ridiculous.

Perfect hardware for our bamboo shades
Our new bamboo shades did not come with hardware to wrap the cords in a neat and safe manner. These were a very nice quality of brass. Only suggestion is to include screws!
