Instead of 3rd brake light, can you flash the two normal brake lights? Need two units?

Yes I got two led lights to flash. They flashed at the same time though.

Hi Fran, you can follow: 1. the side of "V IN", connect to the power,red wire to positive and black wire to negative; 2. the side of "OUT", connect to the lights, red wire to positive and black wire to negative. That will be OK.
