Clover Takumi Bamboo Knitting Needles

I love these needles, they are smooth and the yarns glide so nicely over them withoutbeing to slippery as to slide off the end of the needle. They are great for my hands as I have arthritis and carpel tunnel syndrome. My hands do not get tired or pained. I will never use any other kind of needle again.

At first I was skeptical when I was told that wooden knitting needles would be easier to knit with but now I’m a believer in wooden over metal. This also reduces static shock and I’m able to knit pretty finely with this. I’m currently learning bamboo stitch and its pretty easy to go back to fix mistakes with this set of needles.

I am a new knitter. I didn't want metal because I wasn't sure I wanted me stitches falling off. In that regard, this definitely is better. These are long, though, for a newbie doing a scarf - I didn't think of that. I'd get shorter ones if you are new and want to do a scarf or hat worked flat.I was frustrated with the grip and did a bit of research. Beeswax (I had some for another purpose) or other was worked VERY well to make them slippery enough, but not too slippery. Very much improved after I did that.They are straight, even, no bits to grab your yarn. They are light and they are quiet - so all in all, I am pleased. I've ordered metal ones now that I have some more experience - will be interesting to compare.

I adore wooden needles and these from Takumi are excellent quality. I also have aluminum needles and they are just too slippery. These needles are smooth but have enough "grip" to keep the yarn on the needles. Any time I need needles, I will be purchasing this brand in the future.

These are light, comfortable, and easy to use. I prefer them over aluminum needles because the yarn is less easy to slip.

These needles took two weeks to be delivered! Very poor service for Amazon and the retailer! However, once received the needles are fine.

Product was delivered in a timely manner and the needles are in perfect condition, however they have a strong mildew smell. I am trying to air them out in the hopes that this odour will subside. Unfortunately for the time being I am unable to use them.
