Super Easy Installation - Great Camera, plus Amazing Customer Service!
I just finished setting up this camera outside my 90+ yr old father-in-law's front door. We wanted to give him a little more security & peace of mind. The set up could not have been easier. The app did everything it was supposed to do and connected quickly. I added the app to both my phone & my wife's. The video is amazing and the audio is great. Very short connection time to view any motion at his door. This is a great little camera!Update after 2 months: Camera is still working great with no issues. A few days ago it started sending us messages that the battery was under 10% (not bad for 2 months). So I used step ladder to climb up & plug it in. Within 6 hours it was charged to 96%. Hopefully that's the only time I'll have to do that.I had claimed a bonus gift of a free solar panel that was offered when we received the camera to keep it continually charged. Although the seller has had a hard time getting in enough solar panels to fulfill the demand, they were really good about keeping me informed. They recently let me know that it would be a while still, but offered to make it right by compensating me with Amazon credit to purchase one. I gladly accepted their generous offer and just ordered one through Amazon. I am a VERY happy customer!

Very happy with camera
I purchased two cameras and I am very pleased with the performance of both. I have one indoor and one outdoor and I have chosen the screwed bracket on the outdoor and the magnetic on the indoor. Both brackets are good for the job. The picture quality is ideal for my needs which is to have observation at night time. The whole camera setup is with the software and multiple time of day can be set for alarm triggering. Note for over midnight I had to set to alarm times since the software does not allow the end time to be before the start time e.g. Can be set individually for each day of the week. The downside to the software is that it does not give a live view of multiple cameras, only one camera at a time when selected. Maybe a future update will add this. The two way sound works well and may act to deter intruders. Build quality very good. May not meet requirements for police evidence. Night vision seems good to me. May not be clear to recognise faces but clear to see a person and movement. I think you would need to spend a lot more money if your security needs are high but for a minimal system with easy install I am very happy and I am considering buying another camera. The first time setup is not very clear in the instructions but I could work it out and it did work first time on both (app running, camera and your wifi password needed). Recordings can be done manually to a phone if no memory card or auto with a memory card or cloud subscription (price not checked).

Broke down
IP camera cannot power up despite charging and taking out the SD card as advised by the help desk. Only used it from June 2021.

Simple to install; Connects easily
This is the third battery powered wireless camera product I've bought from IE GEEK. The Cloudedge app is very easy to download and it runs me through the setup of the camera, including telling me if where I'm installing it has enough wi-fi signal. (I'm using an iphone for the app but it says it works with android as well - my experience with the app is via iphone FYI) There is an insert spot for an SD card; and recently I discovered they also sell solar power units which will plug into these and keep the battery charged. They also do have a cloud recording service but I haven't been able to figure out how much it is, or if I'd use it rather than the SD card. The main difference would be that if I'm away from home, I can't see recordings on my SD card, of course, but I could if it was recorded to the cloud. If I am away, I CAN see a 20-40 second recorded clip of a motion alarm however - that seems to be enough to know whether to worry or not. The app allows you to set up how you want to be alerted for motion (email, text, how often, how long of a recording, times to monitor). And you can always see a live view of your camera no matter where you are in the world (a picture shown from my phone attached). It alerts me fairly immediately of any movement, and I can turn off alerts with the touch of a button in the app - i.e. if I'm home and I don't want to be alerted every time my dog is out in the yard, I can turn it off. The images seem clear enough to identify people, in daytime and at night! Good product and I'll update this review in 6 months to let you know about battery life/solar panel use.

tech problem and questionable Company
I'm now up to WiFi security cams from four different manufacturers. I've 3 from this company. I'm evaluating for a much larger project.By and large these ieGeek units are OK for their price range, with one MAJOR issue here. They keep disappearing from my LAN. I can still call them up via the app but that usually takes several attempts. They STILL don't show in the clients list of my router app. This is a high end brand name router that is properly set up and works fine with all 12 other clients on the LAN. All WiFi signal strengths are above 75%. I'm very rural, NOT a WiFi congested environment to say the least. I even run the 2.4 and 5 G networks on separate SSID. When I turn on MESH in the router it really breaks these cameras connectivity. All the cameras from this company arrived with free gift offer cards in the box,, see pic. After several email rounds they finally accepted my proof of purchase and Amazon review (initially a 4 star). Then they said they'd send the gifts of I upped my review to 5 star! I requested the solar panel option and again they stated at Star review is required. Then they sent me the SD cards anyway, which test too slow a write speed to work properly in these cameras.Seeing so many identical looking units by other companies and having 4 units from other manufacturers that don't have the network problems, I'll not be using this company for my large projects... Gosh, even a $25 Lollypop cam from Walmart stays up visible on the LAN ! ! !
