I saw a lot of negative reviews on this dresser about the difficulty of assembly. I was a bit intimidated when ordering but gave it a shot anyways. I've built enough furniture from IKEA and places a like to have a decent understanding of the difficulty required to put something like this together. Overall, I'm not sure what the big deal was or where all the negativity came from with the assembly of this dresser. It took me roughly an hour and a half to put together from start of unboxing to cleaning up afterwards. I did this by myself. I opened the box and laid out all the parts with the letters facing me for ease of finding what I needed. The directions are well laid out. I had literally no difficulties following the step by step instructions to get this completed. It is well made and feels super solid. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheaper but viable option for a dresser. My best advice is to take your time, lay out all the parts (the only additional tool needed that isn't included is a philips head screwdriver), and follow the directions. Look for orientation on the pictures provided for what ways the parts go together. It's really not difficult at all people!

Beautiful hardwood fits in perfectly with our decor as a warm, deep, dark chocolate color. The surface is not a veneer! The drawers only open about 2/3 of the way or so and do not pull out fully unless the tracks are released. I believe this is for additional security for a toddler. The bottoms of the drawers could stand to be thicker/stronger, but they're not too bad considering. Overall, it seems quite sturdy even without being attached to the wall for stability (if I had a toddler, I definitely wouldn't risk it, tho). It is a great buy and not nearly as cheaply made as so many ”assembly required” furniture brands. Recommended!

So far this dresser is perfect. The changing pad accessory fits perfect and the drawer was easy to assemble. One person under an hour. The drawers are big enough for me to put drawer dividers in. The only downside is that these drawers are ones to quietly close. They don’t slowly close themselves nor do they close without making a smacking noise when you close them by hand which some parents might not like if their baby is sleeping or they do not want to startle them while they are on the changing pad. The color of this dresser is perfect and exactly as you see online. The top drawer is one big drawer and not three small ones which I prefer.

Overall, I like this bureau. Mine came with a few scuffs but I’m way to close to my due date to deal with trying to swap it out. I’m a single mom and assembled this myself. I have put together tons of furniture successfully in my life. This one was kind of a pain in the butt. I did use a drill for certain parts even though the instructions say you don’t need one because using a screwdriver to install 16 tiny screws to the back alone was just too much. Most everything lined up well. The drawer support pieces did not go in easily and I used a hammer to help get two of them in. Be prepared to spend some time on this. The instructions were pretty clear and the steps were easy to follow. Just very time consuming. I did buy a changing table topper and added that on. I also opted for my own hardware to jazz it up a bit.

Just to give some details I purchased the dark chocolate color and I paid $199.99. I was very worried about the product because it only had 3.5 stars and just over 100 reviews. I almost cancelled my order in favor of another dresser that had 1500 plus reviews and a 4.5 Star average but my husband liked this dresser better so I decided to give it a shot. I’m very glad that I did because it is perfect for our nursery! One review mentioned that the color was completely wrong and included pictures. They must have gotten a defective one because ours was exactly right. I included pictures of the delta dark chocolate changer and crib that we purchased separately (from another amazon seller and Target respectively) to show that it is a match. The guaranteed delivery date was Monday 12/07/19 but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived Saturday 12/05/19! My husband and I (7 months pregnant) were able to put it together in a couple of hours with several interruptions from our older son. I would have been able to put it together by myself if necessary although I admit I may have cried a little out of frustration(I’m pregnant do give me a break) it really wasn’t hard with 2 people though! I highly recommend having a second person helping to get everything lined up. I’m very happy with the quality of the dresser. The drawers and back panel are made of cheaper particle board type something but that is to be expected (my husband and I have a very nice solid wood bedroom set and the back of that is similar) the drawers are straight and slide easily. One of the drawers had a back piece that was bowed ever so slightly but we just had to hold it in place while we screwed it in and it straightened out just fine. I’m very glad we got this dresser instead of the other one with higher ratings. I’m confident that this dresser is every bit as good quality as the other one.

This is a great dresser. It also matches the delta crib color perfectly! Easy to put together, did it by myself at 34 weeks! I will say it did have a decent scratch on the frame, but it's down towards the bottom, and mostly covered by the drawer so it doesn't bother me any. Otherwise so far so good!

This dresser is a lot deeper than I expected it to be! The drawers don't pull out all the way, but I actually appreciate that and feel that it was by design so that toddlers can't easily pull it out and hurt themselves. The design of the dresser itself is versatile, so I feel that it could go with any theme! It's actually quite heavy, as well, which makes it less likely to tip over. The hardware packaging was amazing - everything was sorted by type and size in a blister-pack making assembly easier and more organized. Overall, I am so happy with this dresser! Plenty of room for both of my children's socks & undies, pajamas, and extra blankets! 10/10

Very easy to assemble. Coming from a 23 week pregnant woman who put this together completely by myself! The directions broke it down step by step. It was easy to follow and the quality is great. I am no way a professional and tired pretty easy. This took me about 2 hours from start to finish. It’s absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend
