Can it be removed? Does it tear into wrist afterwards?** A: I haven't experienced it being loose, but I guess it can depend of the size of your wrist.It can not be removed (at least it is not meant to be)It tears a bit into the wrist when you reach the higher weights but it is in no way painful. **Q: It looks like the rubber grips are on the wrong side of the strap; do you need to use these "backward" by wrapping over the top of the bar?** A: Yes. The rubber grip face outwards into your palm, its what provides better grip on bar .Can be uncomfortable at first but you'll get used to it. If not, just put straps on then twist under loop so grip is facing inwards, this however means its difficult to tighten around the bar. **Q: Are these straps ok for women?** A: Yes sure.
