It can but the sign comes with exterior grade mounting tape attached to the back of the sign that will adhere to brick.

Q: How many inches tall are the numbers?

the numbers are approx. 2" tall. our house is set back from the road a ways and you can still read the numbers clearly.

Q: How can I attach or hang on brick facing?

It came with a strong double sided tape. Mine is on front door. I love it.
