Awesome quality molds
This soap mold is great and I was able to cut my soap into two loaves which rendered a total of 18 - 1” bars of soap. It’s very sturdy and I love that it comes with the box and lid for cover. However, it would make cleanup a tad bit easier if the lid was one that you put on from the top instead of sliding on from the side. The grooves that the lid slide into oftentimes get soap in it and that adds an extra step to the cleanup process. Nevertheless, I have purchased two of these slab molds along with a loaf mold from Nicole and will probably order more in the future. Thanks Nicole for making great quality merchandise.

Awesome for soap making
I make soap and I have tried about 4 different molds and this one seems to be the best i have used it about 6 times and there is no sign of deterioration in the wood and the silicone still intact perfectly still holds to the sides of the wood. It is very easy to get the soap out of the mold. The top piece comes in very useful. This is the best quality i have seen for a cheap price 100% going to get another one.

Great for test batches.
Finally tried this mold after about 2 1/2 years. It makes the cutest little loaves of soap. Perfect for my experiment batches. My recipe was about 25 oz, just enough to do a little bit of a textured top and still have enough room to slide the lid closed. It made 6- 1 inch bars of soap. I sanded it a bit because there were some small splinters. Not as sturdy as some of my more expensive molds but it works just fine. May buy a couple more!

Worth the wait...so far
Today, I finally unboxed my 4 Nicole soap molds I bought about 3 weeks ago. I received them about 5 days ago. Upon inspection they are fantastic. That is the reason for my 5 star rating. They seem to be well made with dove tailed ends and on the smaller 1 pound loaf mold it has 1 hole in the bottom to help extract the insert after the soap has hardened. The liner is really nice. It is thick but flimsy enough to be able to peel back from the soap. The top is a sliding top which is nice to help preserve heat but protect from anything that might be flying around in the house. But if you're a soap maker you know you should completely cover that box with lots of towels to allow it to slowly cool to prevent cracks from forming in the top of the soap. Aaaaand back to the molds... The wait is worth it... The packages have to go through customs but they're packaged well and they have some super strong tape. This afternoon I plan to make several batches of soap and will update on the quality, soap removal and how well the boxes held up against being moved around and the batch holding up to being poured in the molds. **UPDATE** 3 days later... The molds are fabulous. They did very well and the crisp edges to the soap are what I was looking for. Just know...if you have a super thick soap base you will need to tamp the molds down on a sturdy hard surface to help release air bubbles. I did it still with my thinner soap base and I didnt have issues.

Perfect for small batches
The Boowan Nicole small rectangle silicone soap mold is perfect for making small batch DIY soap making. The wooden box provides good support, and the mold makes it easy to remove the soap without sticking. I really liked it for the first few batches. However, after a few uses, I noticed the silicone mold stretched out of shape a bit, which made my loaf slightly uneven. I reached out to the seller directly about my concern, and I have to say their customer service was excellent—very professional, quick to respond, and extremely helpful in resolving my concern. Overall, it’s a good product with fantastic support from the company.

Does it's job well and it's cheap!
I would like to emphasize that I am giving this five stars because, for its price point, it's really nice. It's not fair to compare this to a handmade, durable, expensive upgrade. This is for beginners, for people on a budget. The wood isn't very thick and has some rough edges, the silicone is very thin, but that's not a bad thing, it doesn't feel like it will rip or anything. The top can be slightly tricky to put on but it does it's job. As a beginner loaf soap mold, this is really good. I primarily use it to make smaller test batches and may even buy a few more! Don't judge something made on the cheap for not being as good as the 50+ dollar version.

Perfect for a beginner soaper!
Love this mold! It allows a full gel phase. It holds about 16-18 oz of oils - depends on if you want a higher top or not. I use about 16oz when I want to slide it shut for gel phase, I also cover with a towel to help it along a little. Overall this is a really great starter mold. I get about 7 2.5 - 3 oz soaps out of it. Def recommend! Oh, i guess the only down side is just treat it nice! I'm not sure how resilient the wood case is but its been doing fine for me and i have made 5 batches of soap in it so far for my aspiring small soap business. P.s. use a bit of sodium lactate to help it release from the mold even easier.

excellent slab mold!
This is so worth the price! The very thick liner pops out easily. It was so easy to unmold my soap and the box design with the lid will help insulate it for a slightly faster process. Very sturdy and so nice! I looks like it will last a long time. I already ordered a second one.

Ben fatto
