Fits my 06 TSX perfectly. Keeps oil very clean.

I’m not convinced that any oil filter can last for 20K miles but it’s good to know that this filter has extra long service. Personally I’d never go more than 10K using premium synthetic oil but this filter gave me confidence to go that far before an oil change. Since the 5.0 liter engine has an 8 to 9 quart capacity (depending on the performance package) that’s a lot of oil to go through before a drain interval. This is a reputable performance company that’s been around for years. I have no doubt this filter is of high quality.

When K&N sold out to a cheaper manufacturer, I’ve been on the hunt for a better oil filter. A ran across VP Racing. I dug a bit for more information about the company and found them to be a very solid auto parts manufacturer. I’m immediately impressed by the weight of the filter, it looks and feels solid.So far so good with its performance. I’ll report back with its longevity. I paired it up with 5.5 qts of Mobile1 0/20 SUV & TRUCK synthetic motor oil. I change my oil every 7500 miles.I’ll report back with more info as I close in on my next oil change.

Seems to be a high quality filter for the money.

Picture don’t lie look at the difference in a filter put in at an oil change business,that claim it was a synthetic oil filter . The paper filter they installed was not the quality any car needs .I bought a made in America filter that was full synthetic VP FILTER AND NOTICED A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE IDEALING OF MY HONDAS ENGINE AND THE RPMS , my gas mileage went from 36 miles per gallon to to 46 miles per gallon in my 2020 1:5 liter Honda civic . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MADE IN AMERICA VP FILTERS

Contrary to its claims of being able to filter 2 oil changes,(or something to that effect), after only 2500 miles my oil is just as black as other filters at the same interval. I would NOT use this filter for more than one oil change!

The best quality constructed oil filter I’ve ever seen and it’s made in the USA which is even better!! The only filter I’ve seen of equal quality is perhaps an Amsoil one and my guess is they are both made by the same manufacturer. Take a peak when you get yours on the inside…bet you don’t see that in even the most expensive store bought brand. Seriously, I’m blown away by the quality and to me for an oil filter I’m willing to spend what this costs as it’s top-of-the-line! The inner filter housing is just as stout as the outside! Silicone anti-drainback valve is top tier…I’m a car mechanical nerd. And yes the synthetic filter media has an amazing filtration level with excellent flow rates going through it. This is a clear winner over anything else on Amazon or at a store. 5 stars easily, blown away by the quality and that’s not easily done for me. Honda CRV is the vehicle it’s going in and hopefully they will make one for the 4Runner soon as well.
