Fairly good wood, Cam locks break. Issues listed.
My wife and I purchased this for the living room after installing hard wood floors. The quality of the wood I felt was fairly good, and I like the back of the entertainment center how it wasn't just thin cardboard (still had a heavy cardboard feel ... but not too bad). No nails were used, all screws. The entertainment center comes in a good size box, and is easier moved with two people. I did not run out of hardware, however as another person pointed out, they ran out of glue ... as did I ( I had extra around the house ...in addition to wood glue which I will mention below). The instructions point out not to use power tools, and I highly recommend NOT to. I had some of the hardware break just using the screwdriver. I am listing the issues however which are shown below:1. I used soft pads in Step 1 to the bottom of wood pieces 1 & 2, pads to the bottom of wood piece 6 in Step 3, and a pad to the bottom of wood piece 5 in Step 4. We have new hard wood floors. It was also easier to move once completed this way.2. The wood piece in Step 3 attached to wood piece 4 came off very easily. It was held on with 4 short nails and wood glue. I have attached pictures of the small piece of wood that came off, the dried glue, and how far the nails stuck out.3. The threaded bolt in leg wood piece 5 in Step 4 was crooked (photo attached).4. The center hole in Step 3 wood piece 6 was stripped so when adding Cam bolt D it continued to turn.5. (2) of the Cam locks broke in Step 4 on wood piece 4 when attaching wood piece 6 to wood piece 4 and turning the Cam locks. The remaining medal pieces were lodged under the Cam bolt D on each end. The hardware kit came with (2) extra Cam locks.6. Wood pieces 7 & 8 in Step 6 overlap wood piece 4 slightly in the front at the top and bottom. Picture attached.7. One of the glass window pieces 16 in Step 13 were a tight fit (picture attached).8. All of the (D) Cam bolts were used, (H) handle bolts, (K) hinges, (G) handles, and (P) glue tube.9. The paint on wood piece 13 in Step 17 came off beneath the sticker when removed. This wasn't too bad as it was on the bottom of the shelf (underneath).Note: Though the instructions say only a Philips screwdriver is needed, I had mini Philips screwdriver as well that I used. For size comparison, a final picture is attached. The TV is a 58" Samsung.I might have given this 4 stars, however with all the different discrepancies I had to give it 3 stars. I would have expected less issues for the price paid.

Reason for 2 stars
The delivery timing was amazing! It was here in 2 days and they had two people drop it off and place it nicely on my porch! 5/5 stars for delivery and handling.Reason for 2 stars: we had everything out to assemble and saw we were missing two massive parts. The front board where everything connected and one of the door panels. We double checked our parts again and I ended up reaching out to Walker Edison Customer Service. They were nice but I sent my info and he said he could not find my order. I screen shot my Amazon order and then they were able to send the two missing pieces over.Once they arrived, the door panel was a little scratched and had a little dent. Nothing major but I feel like it was returned by someone and that is what they sent me. I know we are having inventory issues with getting stuff to vendors but I was disappointed. Customer service was nice and helpful I just won’t buy from this company again.Look: 5/5Sturdiness: 4.5/5Easy to assemble: 4/5 (some weird pieces to hold the glass on)

Perfect assembly instructions and plenty of additional spare parts!!
First off - all pieces were in excellent condition and packaging. Most of my sewing room is in white and some in black so I wanted another white piece to go under my TV unit. I layered it with some shelf lining to compliment. The purpose is additional storage in my room. I received it this morning and I put it together in a few hours. Nothing was wrong in the instructions - and no parts were missing. In addition to having 1 additional part in each package there was another package with plenty of extra pieces. As one dowel came broke - I used a total of 1 additional piece. But there were PLENTY of additional pieces - so I highly applaud this feature. Also - make sure that you check the red packages for ALL piece packs - the pack for M was super small and didn’t immediately fall out of the hardware pack. Almost threw it away. I’m very excited for my new piece!

Came defective - would LOVE my wasted time back
Having paid almost $300 for a smallish entertainment center, my boyfriend and I expect a quality piece of furniture. Unfortunately, that is not what we got.Aside from the fact that the assembly is far more difficult than needed, our product came defective. The piece that acts as the top part of the door frame has 4 pieces of wood that act as door stoppers on the inside of the cabinets at the top. Ours came with these on the front, making it impossible to install the doors. At first, we thought we had made a mistake. I wish that had been the case, but we did not. We went back and forth 1000 times to make absolute certain this was defective, and it is (the holes and dowels all lined up properly, but the blocks were on the outside. When we tried to face them inside, the cam lock holes and dowels did not fit. Even if we widened the holes to force fit them, we would be bending the inner door frames).Being that it is extremely heavy and would be virtually impossible to re-box and return, we were forced to fix the problem rather than go through the trouble of returning the thing and waiting for a new product, which may also come defective. My boyfriend had to chisel off the pieces of wood, which is virtually impossible to do without damaging the product since they’re both nailed and glued. Then he had to rent a Brad nailer to reinstall them on the back side with glue. We had to caulk all of the new holes as well as the damage caused by removing the blocks, wait for it to dry, sand it, and we are now in the process of painting.Even though we are fixing it, we will still need to try and cover the 3 cam lock holes, which would not be visible on the front side had the piece arrived as expected (not defective). We began this saga at 9:00 AM. It is now 9:30 PM and we are waiting for the second coat of paint to dry. We spent over $60 on tool rentals, Brad nails, caulk, paint, and things we can try to use to cover the cam lock holes. Aside from the money, we spent an entire Saturday messing around with a piece of furniture that should have never shown up this way.For $300, I did not expect this. I will never buy from this seller/manufacturer again.

Easy enough to put together
I bought this for the living room tv to sit on. It arrived quickly and in good condition. The packaging actually had some pieces of MDF in the ends of the box to protect the contents from damage during transport. All of the pieces were made well enough and none were missing. The directions suggest two people working to put it together but I was able to assemble it on my own. The instructions were easy enough to follow. I found out during assembly that when screwing in the “cam bolts” you have to stop screwing it in as soon as all of the threads of the cam bolt are within the hole. You can keep screwing it in deeper (nothing stops it from continuing into the MDF parts) but that makes the cam bolts too deep and then the “cam locks” will not be able to lock it correctly. Once I figured this part out, the rest of the assembly went smoothly. I really wish it was solid wood (but I know that would have cost a lot more) but I am happy with the quality for the price.
