Copper purity
Guys, just to clear up some of the negative reviews. I’ve learned that these are 99.7-99.9% pure copper. With some trace amounts of zinc and iron. When using them you may see what seems to be ‘stripping’ of the copper however it is now my understanding that this is oxidation occurring and not at all the stripping if the copper we are all seeking. To sum up, they are worth the buying you’re buying fur health benefits.

Good weight
Good weight and good volume. I can’t comment on the value of copper but this is a great size for a good sized drink. Comfortable to hold and use. Quality.

Not pure copper
Have had these for 6 weeks now and the colour is starting to come off despite only handwashing. Definitely not pure copper

Lacquered
I bought these for the health benefits of drinking from copper but didn't realise they are lacquered. I became suspicious when the copper didn't tarnish. That said, if water is left to sit in the cup, I think it does taste of metal so maybe there is some benefit. I hope I'm not tasting the lacquer! EDIT: I've discovered the lacquer can be removed. There are several methods online.

It's good looking and hold enough liquid. However the finished quality aren't that great. There're scratches and There're small dents on the outside. Copper is good for purifying but high maintenance.

These were a Mother's Day gift from my son, and I love that he found them for us! These copper cups keep our beverages cold, and because they are so pretty, we use them for our water all day long. It's easy to stay hydrated when the water is cold and the quality is good, so they are easy to clean and the size holds a good amount of liquid. Total win for us! (And we could even use them for wine!)

Purchased this for my parents, they just loved them. Prior to me purchasing these cups, my mother had another "so called" "real" copper cups, which ended up not being real copper and turned gray. I keeps the drinks cold, she and my dad are happy and I'm elated that it was a good purchase. I will buy again, for my own household.
