Does does work for getting rid of old aquarium cloud?

No it wont this is to get rid of water marks, finger prints dust and streaking you would need novus acrylic polish to remove that

Does this remove the film left behind by salt water

That I could not answer because I have a freshwater tank and it did an excellent job on it

Cleaning hermit crab tank with heavy dirt/sand and calcium build-up. Will this take care of it?

No this is just a polish use novus acrylic cleaner

There is no ingredient information at all on the package or on the Fritz website, only an OSHA Safety Data Sheet. Fritz seems to be dye and fragrance free but I couldn't find any information on solvents or surfactants.
