I bought the salad/pasta bowls to replace ones that had broken. While the design is very pretty the bowls I received did not have solid color bottoms but, the same pattern as the inside of the bowl. Also, although packed very well one bowl was received with a chip on the outer rim. Not bad enough to return but, still would rather not have an imperfect bowl since it cannot be used for guests now.

The outside of these pasta bowls is beautifully painted, a joy to look at. Also, the higher sides make it easier to hold the bowls while washing. I only wish the design were on the inside as well!

I love the bowls because they are beautiful colors, dish washer and microwave safe. I post phots of meals that I prepare every day and these have such beautiful colors am excited to use them for my photo shoot.

originally we purchased these to be only used on special occasions. however when we got them and saw how nice they were we started using them everyday and we're certainly glad we did, a lot of compliments on them.
