**Q: how do you properly level match the gains of the matrix plus?**
A: The quick way: connect headunit to Matrix, leave disconnected from amps. Turn volume on radio to 75/80% with some good quality audio with highs and lows and all the good stuff playing (no, you shouldn’t be able to hear it). Turn up each channel that you’re using until the last led is just flickering and stop. Hook up your amps with the gain turned off. Fire up some tunes and enjoy clean noise free audio. Adjust Matrix accordingly afterwards, but this will get you started, you can also fine tune volume by adding a little amp gain but I never have found the need. Also, check what max input voltage on your amps are rated for, some Rockford amps only handle like 6v and this baby can and will eclipse that (if for some reason you have a low input voltage amp, just watch your led meter during initial setup).
The “proper” way, you need tools and training or somebody else that has those things.

**Q: Does this go before clarion eq after radio or after eq before crossover**
A: This goes first.... close as possible to the radio. Then whatever else you have.

**Q: Does this contain a remote turn on relay?**
A: No, it requires a remote turn on lead if this is one of several devices I would suggest in a remote relay or a seperate device that incorporates a 12v wire and your head units remote wire to allow for several remote turn on outputs. Ebay search arc 52 automatic relay controller I own one it allows 7 seperate remote turn ons off your on headunit remote wire with a auto liw voltage shut off and turn back on when voltage rises back up

**Q: How come only my output right channels going out to my amp only work**
A: You have to be more specific.
