Can I listen to music with the ear plugs?

Yes, you can still listen to the music with the earplugs. They are for noise reduction only, but if you have speakers in your helmet, you will still be able to listen to the music. I use these ear plugs full time motorcycling while happily listening to music via my sound system.

Which color filter is which noise rating?

Hahaha... I'm old...I can't tell the difference...They both work well.
