Excellent mid tier projector
The image is sharp and crisp. Auto-focus is surprisingly helpful. Audio works well for a small to mid-size room. The projector works well inside unless near a large window. The only downside is that Netflix doesn't support the device directly (not a projector issue, a Netflix issue). Make sure to install the Nebula Manager app if you want to use Netflix.

Smudge on lens
When I received the projector today, it looked flawless. There were no marks that I could visibly see. After using the projector for a few minutes, I noticed that the lens itself had a smudge that was unreachable for me to clean because it was protected by another piece of glass as a barrier. It was given to me as renewed and the description of buying a renewed projector says it was to be cleaned professionally. Except, that was not the case for me. Unfortunately, if I return the product, I cannot request an exchange and if I return the product I bought, I lose a $50 coupon that I wish to receive to pay for the same product I was to receive. This process just makes it more difficult and if I cannot receive the product I was asked for, I suppose Anker lost a loyal customer :/

Poor product quality and support
We purchased this projector to replace our main TV in January. After a bit over half year of used, it shutdown by itself yesterday. I reached out to the Anker support as well as the Amazon support. Amazon support throws the issue back to Anker’s support and Anker’s support is not helping at all. Long story short, I reported that the device wouldn’t power on and Anker’s support told me that it could be just a back power supply which asked me to send an email to their support thread and get a link to purchase a new power supply. I specifically ask what if the issue is not power supply?! They said unfortunately they cannot do anything. They didn’t even what to provide a repair option to the customer. All they asked me to do is you will need to purchase a new one if the power supply doesn’t work. Another funny thing is they don’t even have a direct link to purchase any of their accessories, so they asked me to send them money through PayPal and inform them I have paid for the accessories. What a SCAM. This projector is $600 and it won’t even survive for a year?! What a joke.

It was surprisingly great until I tried Netflix
The picture quality and the audio quality are great for the price. I've watched movies and live sports (NBA app) and also played Nintendo Switch games. These experiences have been very satisfying, whether on a bare wall or the $20 fabric screen I purchased. The Cosmos has tripod capability, but i don't have a tripod. So it's somewhat annoying not to have a way to tilt or raise the projection other than by stacking books or boxes. Digital focus and zoom are very functional. Auto keystone is slightly slow, but you can use the remote for manual keystoning, too. The remote works very well. The major flaw, probably the only one, is that Netflix does not work on this device. Perhaps back in 2020, there was a successful workaround, but in 2022, nope. The app that opens on the Cosmos (via Nebula's custom launcher called Nebula Manager) is an outdated, unsupported version of Netflix. You can sign in, but nothing will happen after that. I've tried uninstalling that version and attempted to update the app, but no luck. There might be sideloading maneuvers around this problem, but let's face it, if you're like me, one of the top features for this device is that it has native Android and advertises that Netflix WORKS. So this is a bummer. I don't feel like paying for a new Chromecast or FireTV stick after spending 100s on the Cosmos itself.Prime Video also has scattershot problems connecting to the network, even has other apps (HBOMax, NBA, Disney+, Youtube) have no problem. Casting from my Android phone has worked well except for live sports (NBA app) which ends up too choppy.Other than that, my whole fam is hyped about the Nebula Cosmos.

Great for nights in the back yard.
Used it a few times now and its great. Picture is Very clear and sounds good too. Of course your choice of screen plays a big part. I google cast from my smartphone the Majority of the time and a little Netflix via the on board app and in both cases the video and sound quality was very stable with no interruptions. I have nothing bad to say.

Finally a Nebula Projector that didn't break. I love this one.
I'd recommend this to anyone over a traditional television. I use this on my white painted wall and every night feels like a theater visit, with popcorn in hand.

Pretty Good One you Figure it Out
A bit Chally to set up. But once you figure it out-including connecting your speakers to it, you’ll never buy another TV. Each time I sit in my living room, I’m awed. I have speakers and a sound bar connected and I love my cinema experience.
