Barry M Cosmetics Hi Vis Neon Nail Paint, Amber Warning

Need at least 4 coats to get desired color

Okay so it glides on without any issue's and looks nice when it's on. BUT having said this i have had to put 4 coats so far to get to the shade in the photo i up loaded. I wouldn't say it's neon either to be honest. Not the best nail vanish i have used but for the price it's not so bad. I don't think i would buy any other colours in this brand tho.

Nail polish did take some patient to get the full coverage on nail. The pigment of the polish colour first application is streaky so you have to keep on applying until you get the satisfied result.

One coat and its very see through. For a solid base colour you will need to do 3-4 coats and then it becomes more of a dark pink. I wouldnt call this neon but once you have applied enough coats for a solid colour it is a nice one, just not sure its the neon colour it says it is

Bought this for my 7 year old son who was excited by the bright colour in the picture. Unfortunately on this occasion I didn't check the reviews prior the purchase.The delivery was quick and item arrived today on time. My son couldn't wait to get it on. How disappointed he was to see that the colour was no way near as bright as we thought despite several coats.Having read the bottle which states to use with an activator for a brighter coverage. This is not mentioned in the item description.I searched for the activator to read reviews that a standard white base coat could be just as effective.We tried this but found it made no difference and need accurate coverage of the white.The consistency is of this polish is watery and weak and not the quality I would expect from Barry M!

Too watery and needs loads of layers before it becomes more of a solid orange and less translucent

Decent value.I got this for the neon, I love bright nails for going on holiday.The colour in the product photo looks neon and more orange but a strong colour.This is two coats on, it looks like a pale yellow and isn't strong enough to even cover the white of the toe line. Brush is fine, it goes on fine but it is very watery & not like the colour in the product photo. 2/5 (not a one because the brush itself is decent quality).

I bought this for a festival thinking my nails would look bright and shiny like the bottle indicates. Instead they were just matt green. I put 4 coats on just to get a half decent coverage and then a top coat over but it started chipping half way through the day. I've used Barry M before without issues, so I guess this is just a bad formula
