Our favourite homeschool workbooks so far

The Dr Seuss Preschool Workbook is a great workbook for preschoolers (especially those who love Dr Seuss)! The book has a “dear parents” page after the “contents” pages which has tips for using this book at home with your child. The reading section starts with the alphabet and actually has you practice writing the letters and not just trace them (the same goes for the numbers in the math section) which I like. I also like that there’s a section about emotions which I feel is an essential part of everyday life. There’s lots of great activities in this book that your child will enjoy so much that they won’t even know they’re learning! The pages are also perforated so you can remove them if you want to. I highly recommend this book!

She gets super excited when I pull this book out. It’s such an easy activity to do with my toddler who likes asking questions and putting crayon to paper. There’s so many talking points to be had on every page.

I liked the chapter format of the book. Letters or numbers were introduced, practiced, and learning reinforced before the next one is introduced. The whole curriculum of a preschool is in this book.

Good for kids and beginners. The price is affordable and kids will like it
