What a piece(s)...
I was looking forward to completing this puzzle since it reminds me of a family trip to Venice and because I have been at home by myself for 3+ months with limited access to internet. It was very exciting at the beginning, especially as I made more and more progress. When the puzzle was almost complete, it became clear that some pieces were missing, however I was unable to find any of the missing pieces in my house. A total of 9 pieces were missing (8 in the sky and 1 on one of the boats, photo attached). It was very disappointing to have so many missing pieces after spending so much time on the puzzle. If you're looking for the feeling of accomplishment that comes from completing a 1,000 piece puzzle, I would recommend choosing a different option. This one simply left me puzzled.

Just the Right Amount of Challenging
I really wanted a pleasant time-suck activity because I was tired of watching TV or reading during isolation. I thought I might have paid too much for this puzzle after I bought it, but the fact is, it is high quality and visually stunning. I really enjoyed putting this together because it was always interesting to look at as the full picture emerged. The finished size of the puzzle was also ideal, because I have a square, smallish kitchen table and still had enough room to spread out. Fair warning, though, someone with bad eyes might struggle a little with the small pieces. But as value goes, I ended up paying about 50 cents per enjoyable hour. I'd say that's a bargain.
