The battery container also is weather sealed so I'm assuming these can be used outside as well.The switch to change the mode is actually on the plug side or it has a small button and can be switched between strobing, flashing, slow glow, and other presets. Overall, an excellent quality in bright lights 😍

Cute and festive lights for party
I bought these for a party I threw for my boyfriend to celebrate him becoming a US citizen. They really added a nice American touch to the celebration. I plan to use them for the 4th of July too!
