The Wonder Weeks Milestone Guide: Your Baby's Development, Sleep and Crying explained

As an avid fan of the app I thought this book would delve deeper into each milestone. Based on the description of the book I believed there would be helpful information about handling the always changing challenges of sleep and fussiness that comes with each leap. Most of the book is written in short question and answer formats. Not all of the answers are suitable for 0-20 months, some only answer for newborns, leaving you wondering about your older baby. There is some information on teething but other than that everything in the book was already in my rhelm of knowledge. I am a bit disappointed that this book only touched the basics. As someone who has used the app and who already has a healthy education on the subject matter; I believe this book is better as an introductory piece to their philosophies. This would be good for an expecting or new parent more so than a parent who is familiar with basic development. I do find all the information in the book to be of great quality but it is lacking on the quantity with only 1-3 questions answered per page (and a lot of illustrations). It reads as a glorified pamphlet. I would purchase this again because I am such a fan, I love their philosophies on development. However I do believe the price should be half (or less) of what they're asking and that the cover/sypnosis is misleading in terms of the actual content of the book.

I feel like this is a detailed explanation of the preface of the original book and a detailed description of how to help reach milestones. I guess I expected more in depth information that matched the Wonder Weeks book but the format looked more like an FAQ website to go along with the larger book. It's good if that's what you're looking for, it just wasn't how I expected it. Also it's much smaller than expected, only 157 large print pages.

This book is a supplemental to the original Wonder Weeks book. It goes into more detail about the types of development babies go through and why and how things are important. I like that it has commonly asked questions and their answers throughout to help with explaining different aspects of babies' development.

I love this book and recommend to all parents of infants. It provides some great insight into the development of your baby and the consequences of those milestones (i.e. fussiness and clinginess)

I was less impressed with this product than expected. I felt like the milestone guide should not be priced where it is since you can obtain this same information through the Wonder Weeks app for free. I would not recommend this product to a friend. There is also no real need to buy this product without purchasing the Wonder Weeks book

Interesting, easily written, even if one knows some of the concept it is still a good reminder. Recommended to all parents

This is just an overview of terms and occurrences during the wonder weeks, not an outline of the changes week by week, Another book is sold to cover those. There are many typos throughout the book and it is not well written.

This doesn't tell you much more than the original book. I was thinking this would be more of a check list to accompany the book, but it is not. The original book is great, and this as a supplement to that book is really not needed.

A great little book. Love the description of 'Leaps'. Bought for my daughter to help her. She has received so much well meaning advice from various sources, and was a little lost in what to believe.This book has helped her understand behaviours displayed by her 8 month old and to add to the already positive side of this book, the pages used to track and record progress, brilliant!

As a gift, perfect for new mums

I'm really disappointed. Very expensive for a pretty thin book. I was expecting something clearly laid out instead of which it seems such a jumble. What a shame

Explained a lot about developments. Definitely not needed if you already have the wonder weeks book, but still full of great info.
