Great little work light. Perfect to keep in the glove box of your vehicle. The magnetic bottom is very strong and comes in handy. All of the lighting functions are nice and bright. Keep in mind, name brand batteries will make the lights a lot brighter than off brand batteries will...yes, it makes that much of a difference.

this light is well built and versatile. An excellent work light or flashlight. It can hung up or clipped to your belt. The magnetic base will keep it in position.

I got the Big Larry 2 for emergencies and power outages (we've had a few this winter), and I'm impressed. At 400 lumens, it's bright enough for about any situation. It has a regular light on top which turns on first, and a cob strip "trouble light" on the side that turns on second. A third press of the switch turns the cob strip bright red, and another press makes it flash. Both lights are programable and dimmable to prolong battery life. Haven't tested it yet but supposedly you can get about eight hours of continuous light - whether that's at full power or dimmed I don't know yet. This light is hefty and quite rugged with a metal body, and it's water resistant. Runs on three AA batteries. The magnet at the base allows you to stick the light to a metal surface for stationary hands free use. This is going to be my favorite flashlight. Now watch...since I got this, I'll bet we don't have anymore power outages!

I love this light because I can clip it to my pocket and it light up the area I am working plus the magnet helps in some location also. It is a sturdy light.

It’s smaller than expected but the light it puts out is strong and the magnetic is even stronger. First day I dropped it into a foot of water, no issues.

This flashlight was recommended by one of the men in my local hardware store. It's easy to carry, bright, and has a magnetic head that can be attached to metal surfaces (such as a car) when working for hands-free illumination. I like it very much.

I thought this was kind of a stupid gift when it was given to me, and now I think it was one of the most sensible and thoughtful. This thing is just great. It's perfect for the car, where the magnet means you can stick it to the body or under the hood as a worklight. The red light is wonderful for camping, when you don't want to ruin your or others' night vision. During a power outage it's convenient as a lantern, a spotlight, or a task light. It's small enough to fit in a pocket, and heavy enough to free stand.I now have one in each car, and one in my emergency supplies. I'll buy it as a gift for anyone who is at all outdoorsy, or handy enough to change their own headlights.

Os modos de iluminação são muito bons são dimerezados mantendo o botão precionado da pra ajustar a a iluminação pra economizar pilha ou não causar ofuscamento.De modo geral estou satisfeito!Obs 1: não aceita pilhas recarregáveis da duracell ou qualquer outra que seja de mesma espessura, existe um pequeno estreitamento no meio do compartimento das pilhas que impede a entrada da ultima pilha.Obs 2 :A pintura poderia ser mais robusta,poderia vir um fiel ou lugar para por um. (cordinha que prende no pulso para evitar quedas da lanterna).O corpo por ser de alumínio solido é bem pesado.A parte que segura poderia ter um grip melhor ou ser de outro formato, redonda e lisa pode girar na mão principalmente com luvas.

I like the ease of holding the flashlight, the brightness, the magnetic hold, the potential use for car emergencies. I do not care for having to cycle through flashlight, work mode, red, and really bright blinking emergency settings every time I need flashlight. Next purchase will be lil larry for an even more lightweight walking companion.

Compact, attractive & works beautifully - where's the beef??? The white light is very bright & the emergency functions are great. You can set it on the roof of you car and anyone approaching for a mile will see the flashing red light.
