Cook's Delight® Simply Ham Stock Base - 1 lb makes 5 1/2 gallons of stock or broth

I decided to try this as an alternative to expensive smoked meats. This product is not inexpensive but when you consider shelf life (it’s stored in the fridge) and the number of dishes that can be made with a single jar, it’s a good value. Its first test was Brussel sprouts; it passed. They were delicious. Not just to me but to the kids and hubby also. I just brought the sprouts to a boil and added a scoop of the ham base. Once they were tender, the dish was done. The flavor is great, same as with smoked meat. Going into the holidays, I’ll use this a lot.

I made a split pea soup that needed HELP. Adding a bout a tablespoon of this to my full IP Mini pot made it so good I couldn't wait to eat the carrots potatoes and ham so I could drop my spoon and drink this broth straight from the bowl. Buy this.
