Fun Little Book, Great for My Own Leaf Thief
This is a delightful book that's perfect for my little leaf enthusiast. My toddler, who loves picking up leaves and bringing them home (which is why I absolutely had to grab this, haha), finds this story enjoyable and humorous, as do we! It's a fun read with engaging illustrations, and its just long enough to make it feel like a great value. The book has quickly become a favorite in our household, and an excellent addition to our reading collection. Would recommend!

Great story telling!
This book is so much fun to read!! It’s written in a way that makes your narration very engaging and exciting, I may have enjoyed it more than my one year old! Of course I had to then get “the snow thief” such fun books!!!

A lovely little book for younger children that helps them learn about the seasons
This book was very nicely illustrated and offered a story about a little squirrel who learned that it wasn't a thief who took his leaf, but the fact that Autumn is what causes the leaves to disappear. It seems a simple lesson but younger children can enjoy this book when a parent reads to them and they become aware a bit more or the world around them and how it changes from one season to the next. Good Book!

So many things to love about this book!!
1. The cover is beautiful. The title and some leaves are printed with foil material so they glow at different angles. It’s subtle but perfect in the ratio compared to the regular print.2. Pages are thicker than a lot of books so it looks and feels nice.3. It’s not too long where your toddler loses interest. (It would be hard to anyway)4. There are multiple characters throughout it so you can choose to change your voice/emotions/pitch when reading what each animal says keeping your child laughing.5. You can interact with your child on what is happening on practically every page in a fun way.6. Your child is learning about Autumn in a way where you’re not forcing. They will ask questions out of curiosity on some pages.7. At the end of the book are facts (very aesthetically pleasing) to tech your kid about things that happen during Autumn.8. It’s funny.9. The writing and artwork go so well together.10. These characters you can love and look forward to seeing them in other books. Before adding this review I already searched for more books. The second one, “Don’t Touch That Flower!” Has a release date of April 2023.

Silly squirrel
A pretty simple book, with a simple theme. Definitely for younger readers.

Beautiful book!
This is a very cute and very beautiful illustrated book! Nice hard back book for the cost! I gave it as a gift and have already purchased the snow thief as well! I work at a school and the librarian was raving about this book when she saw it on my desk packaging as a gift to my friend’s daughter. If you love reading to your kiddos this is a book to add to your reading time before bed! I’m sure you will read it each season of fall and winter! ♥️

Great book for ages 3-5
The Leaf Thief is brilliantly written, hilariously funny and extremely engaging for toddlers. It's also such a beautiful, colorful book that makes it great for reading to one or a group of children. It will also keep the attention of the adults. This book is a great way to discuss seasonal changes and explains why these changes happen in a fun and relatable way. I read a book once a month to the kids in my Head Start program. I can't wait to read this book to them! There are also so many ideas for activities that I thought of while reading this book. The kids in my program will bring 3 leaves (red/gold/orange) to the book reading to make it more engaging. If you haven't already purchaed this book, what are you waiting for? Kudos to author Alice Hemming!!!
