These look better than the genuine ones at a much cheaper price. Great value. Took a couple of weeks to arrive but I wasn't in a hurry + I think they came from China..... not certain of that though There's one fault...... they really are a bit to loose round the pump so there tends to be a slight gap between the filter and the intake of the pump. Fortunately, this isn't a major problem........... I cut a small piece of scrap foam.... anything would do really.......... and wedged it between the filter and the pump on the opposite side of the intake.......... this then pulled it tight against the intake slots. Pity really as they really should have just made it a bit smaller. Still, compared to the genuine ones, a good deal.

When I saw a package of 10 pet fountain filters for very near the price I've been paying for a pack of TWO (at my local pet supply store), I started lamenting to myself that I should have thought to check Amazon.com from the start, when I bought the fountain three years ago. Because of the cost for two filters, I had been changing them far less than recommended by the manufacturer (every 4-6 mos instead of monthly). But at this price, I can change them monthly, or stretch it to every five weeks and this one package will last a full year! This is a win-win-meow. I am very happy to find this item at a price that fits my budget, and my cats get properly filtered water.
